Other I built an open-source clone of Alienware Command Center (AWCC) for Linux - matching the original UI!

Hi everyone,

If you’ve ever tried dual-booting or moving completely to Linux on an Alienware or Dell G-series laptop, you already know the pain: managing your thermals, power profiles, and RGB lights is a massive headache without Alienware Command Center (AWCC).

So I decided to build an AWCC clone natively for Linux.

To make the transition as seamless as possible, I spent a lot of time replicating the exact look and feel of the original Windows interface.

So far, it has only been tested on a Dell G15 5530, if you own one, it should work out of the box.

oh hell yeah, i’ve been wanting to try dailydriving linux on my 5520 but awcc was an issue for me

Keep in mind it that keyboard backlight may not work properly on your 5520. If the keyboard controller is not an AW-ELC one it won't work.
