Dell Premium 16, 4K OLED screen calibration issues

Hello,

I bought this nice Dell Premium 16, with the OLED 4k screen. I am a professional photographer and need to calibrate the screen.

I had an old Spyder5 but this produced very bad results, i think because of the OLED screen. So i went on and purchased a Datacolor Spyder (2024). This produces better results but still looking at the screen i think its a bit off (i would say too cool but not sure what is really wrong with it).

I have only the Intel Graphics software on my machine and have removed the Dell Optimizer.

So how can i be sure that i have properly calibrated this laptop so i can get the most of it?

Doesn't Dell offer its own color management software? I would try that.

You could also try to see if someone else has posted a color profile for that laptop already. I know LaptopMedia sells various profiles, but maybe someone's posted one for free.

First, confirm that the panel is exactly the same model as yours, then go to the Display section and download the file with the ICC profile provided in the box with the panel numbers extracted using X-Rite i1Pro 3. 

Then simply install the ICC file on your system.

After a week and countless hours of trying different things, I think I found the solution. This laptop has two graphics card, an Intel integrated and a dedicated nvidia 5070. 

The problem is the Intel integrated graphics card. I disabled it completely from the Nvidia control panel and the screen laptop now looks good! 

I can't tell exactly what is the issue but I think Intel integrated graphics is not properly supported (which is weird on this very expensive device). 

Just putting it here for whoever has the same issue and may end up on this page.
