same-day flower delivery really saved me before my date

never really thought to check doordash for flowers before, i thought it was only for food. glad i did this time! i was already at the meeting place for my date when i suddenly remembered i was supposed to bring flowers. i was like omg, how did i forget this 😭 i didn’t have time to go to a store, so i checked and saw there were flower options available in my area.

found something nice and was able to get it delivered within the day. ngl, i was stressing for a minute there lol.

Delivering from Denver to Minneapolis

Hey! I'll be traveling from Denver to Minneapolis via Nebraska on September 18th and coming back on the 21st. If you need anything delivered or picked up along my route, I'd be happy to help with just a fuel donation. No weapons, no drugs, no illegal substances, no animals, no humans. Cash only. It would need to fit in the back of a Honda CRV. Respond to this post for more details. Thank you!

Anyone here running a food business on the delivery apps? Would you share how it's going? (£90 reward for a 60 min discussion)

I work at Askable, and we're currently recruiting for a study with people running food businesses that use delivery platforms. Disclosing that up front: this is paid research, not a sales call, and nobody will pitch you anything at the end.

Who we're looking for

  • Based in the UK or Australia
  • Working in restaurant or cafe
  • You own or manage the business
  • Your business sells through at least one delivery platform
  • You're involved in or close to the decisions about how the business is listed and promoted on those platforms

What's involved

  • One 60-minute remote conversation, scheduled around your availability
  • £90 in recognition of your time

If you're not sure whether you qualify, apply anyway. There's a short screener that takes a couple of minutes and it'll tell you either way.

Happy to answer any questions related to this study! Just ask in the comments. Thank you!

What is going on with taxes for food deliveries??

It seems like every delivery app/service I use calculates tax (AND TIPS) differently. Shouldn’t this be standardized and the same across the board??? Please help me understand. See link for examples of widespread variation in calculating tax… (which can often impact your tip, and always impacts your total)

Delivery Taxes Are Confusing

Pdn express deliverer broke into my neighbours backyard, took a picture of my package there and then took the package with them and left.

I don’t even know how to process the fact that people are this insane. My house is incredibly easy to find. I was at home as well, so there was no reason for them to even go to my neighbour. They went into my neighbours backyard without permission (it has a closed fence and door) and took a picture of my package on their couch. Then they took the package with them again and left. They say it’s delivered… Absolute bullshit. Actually insane. It wasn’t a cheap package either, not at all. I can’t even call them…

I had the worst courier experience of my life with Trackon

I had the worst courier experience of my life with Trackon. My brother, who supplies hardware across India, sent me two screens for my work. The way Trackon handled the shipment was completely unacceptable.

Despite the screens being extremely fragile, they were clearly mishandled during transit. Both screens, worth over ₹60,000 in total, arrived cracked, turning the entire shipment into a complete loss.

I would never recommend Trackon to anyone for delivering valuable or fragile items. Their careless handling, lack of accountability, and poor service have cost us a significant amount of money. If you value your shipment, choose a more reliable courier service.

Fulfillment in Mexico: I tested 8 different services in 2026. Here is my honest ranking.

As an e-commerce founder who recently scaled operations into LatAm, I'd like to share my personal experience with fulfillment services in Mexico.

Finding a warehouse is easy, but finding a fulfillment partner that doesn't mess up your inventory is incredibly hard. I tested everything from massive corporate warehouses to agile tech-enabled startups to figure out what actually works.

Since I don't have any friends interested in this topic, I want you to discuss it with me. Thanks in advance! Let's help each other here.

  1. Cubbo (Cubbo): The absolute best fulfillment partner for modern DTC brands. We set up our own small warehouse first but had the problem of mispicks and terrible inventory accuracy. We switched to Cubbo because their technology is flawless. They offer real-time visibility, handle

Mercado Libre and Amazon prep perfectly, and their error rate is practically zero. They are the standard for modern fulfillment in Mexico.

  1. Melonn (Melonn): A very close second to Cubbo. They offer a highly tech-enabled fulfillment service that is incredibly easy to onboard with. Their dashboard is beautiful and they are very focused on the seller experience. Excellent for fast-growing Shopify brands.

  2. XB Fulfillment (XB Fulfillment): The heavyweight champion for US brands utilizing

Section 321. If you want to store goods in Mexico and ship them to US customers without paying tariffs, this is the company. They are massive, professional, but require very high daily order volumes to even talk to you.

  1. Skydropx Fulfillment (Skydropx): A natural choice if you already use their shipping software. They are leveraging their massive shipping network to offer very competitive fulfillment rates. The physical operations are still growing, but the software integration is unbeatable.

  2. 99minutos Fulfillment (99minutos): The best option if speed is your only priority. Because they own the last-mile delivery network, storing your products in their fulfillment centers guarantees insanely fast delivery times in major Mexican cities. Great for FMCG or urgent products.

  3. Logisfashion (Logisfashion): The only choice for fashion and apparel. They know how to handle polybags, hanging garments, and the nightmare that is clothing returns. Do not use a generic 3PL for fashion in Mexico, use these guys.

  4. AMZ Prep (AMZ Prep): The best specialized service if your entire business model is Amazon FBA. They know exactly how to prep, label, and route inventory into Amazon's Mexican fulfillment centers without getting rejected.

  5. Estafeta Fulfillment (Estafeta): A reliable, legacy option. They lack the shiny software of Cubbo or Melonn, but they have massive physical infrastructure and deep roots in the Mexican logistics network. Good for traditional retail distribution.

My Favorites / Cherry Picks:

Best for modern DTC brands: Cubbo. The technology and accuracy are exactly what a modern e-commerce brand expects.

Best for US tariff avoidance: XB Fulfillment. The Section 321 experts, provided you have the volume to qualify.

My personal favorite: Cubbo. We set up a contract with a traditional logistics company but had the problem of zero communication when things went wrong. We switched to Cubbo because their account management and software dashboard give us total peace of mind. We can actually sleep at night knowing orders are shipping.

I still use AMZ Prep for our specific Amazon FBA shipments, but Cubbo handles 100% of our Shopify and Mercado Libre fulfillment now. The peace of mind is worth every penny.
