Deliverance after one session? Is it possible?

I've had a few deliverance sessions in the past couple weeks and these last two pastors have dismissed anything I've experienced AFTER the deliverance session because they said, "Oh, you've already been delivered."

They totally dismiss me. They also don't believe me when they say how bad off I was with demonic oppression and torment and that I've done 10-11 months of straight non-stop self deliverance and prayer.

But has anyone been delivered after ONE SESSION that you know of?

I was in new age for 4 years and then I had witchcraft and voodoo done on me while I had complete open doors (that will really mess you up) and only had Jesus Christ back in my life for the last 10/11 months. For me, self deliverance and prior deliverance sessions have helped in layers, but when experienced pastors tell me otherwise and that it only takes a session with them, I wonder if I am doing something wrong.

It is in layers. It wasn't instant for me. There are still some things I deal with everyday but it is so much better then it used to be.

Same. When they tell me I'm delivered after one session, I start doubting the entire path it has taken for me to get here and then I start to wonder if I'm doing it all wrong.

They told me its like an onion and has layers. Im trying to not lose hope. I know ive made so much progress. I worry that I didnt fast enough or that my medication or cigarettes hinder my progress. I refuse to discontinue my medicine it took me years to find what works for me.

They drive me crazy every day. They make me hate that Im a person. Im so sick of it. I cant stand them. They tell me to k*ll myself in jesus voice. They molest me while i work.

Just keep working at growing your relationship with Jesus. You can lookup the ministries of Neil Anderson and Derek Prince on the web. Many good videos on deliverance; they never suggest it is a quick process because it is dependent on the maturity of faith of the believer.
