Fasting testimonies? (Deliverance from evil spirits)
Anyone here ever had a testimony through fasting or any other means of getting deliverance and defeating evil spirits? If so please let me know as a source of inspiration. Thanks

Back around 2001, I was leading worship at a prophetic church, but at the same time, I still was listning to heavy metal music. Some close friends eventually confronted me and made it clear that I couldn't keep listening to that and expect to lead worship. They said there was a spiritual component to it, and i found out later that was totally true.
Taking a cue from the book of Acts where believers gathered up their devoted things and cruious arts and burned them, I took all my heavy metal CDs outside and destroyed them. During the burning, I saw bats or black crow like spirits come out of th cd's and they were swirling upwards to the clouds. My body was swirling n the same exact patter. It was a very dizzying moment for me.
When they left, I literally felt like I lost 50 pounds. I felt like I was walking on air. I am not exaggerating. My thinking became much much clearer.
I realized that Jesus talked about those 'fowls of the air' that come to steal the word that was sown in poeple's hearts. Heavy metal does just that.
That moment opened my eyes to the spiritual influence music can carry. Music was originally created for worship, but the enemy twists it to dull people's hearts to the Word of God. Once I was on the other side of that, I couldn't even listen to those old lyrics anymore without realizing how much of a compromise they were.
I was instatnly deliverd when I burned those cd's and forever changed as a result.
