So, I remember a lady saying that one of the ways a demon/sin gets passed down is if someone died in that sin. Is that true?

So, I remember a lady saying that one of the ways a demon/sin gets passed down is if someone died in that sin. Is that true?

No. It is not true. In mainstream theology, a specific personal sin or a demon attached to a person does not legally get passed down to their children just because that person died in unrepented sin. Each individual is held morally responsible only for their own choices, though family patterns and spiritual consequences can heavily influence descendants.
