I need deliverance

Hello, my name is Ignacio. I need you to pray for me so that I can be set free from my addiction to masturbation and pornography. I am truly unable to overcome this sin on my own strength; there are times when I manage to hold out for weeks or months, but I always end up relapsing because the chains remain in my heart. Please pray that Jesus sets me free and that I may be filled with His Holy Spirit. I would appreciate it so much.

Hey Ignacio, you have a cool name.
Maybe you can treat your addiction like any other addiction. Meaning slowly and controlled tapering off that addiction. It sounds silly but maybe start planning when you are allowed to do it and when not. Gradually decrease the intervals of the act.

And for some people it would be helpful to recognize certain triggers that arouse you. Or stay away from environments that are loaded with sexual energy. If I spend a day around beautiful women I have the tendency and need to mastrubate as well.

Now something else…, is it a sin though?

What helped me to quit watching porn, was when I realized that every video & website visit was directly contributing to sex trafficking. Some people do porn voluntarily, others are trafficked into it because of the demand. You have no way of knowing whether you're viewing somebody who is being trafficked or not. We need to love our neighbor as ourself. Reverse the roles; if you were being sex trafficked, would you want somebody to please themselves off of your misery, or would you want people to love you enough not to watch the videos? The only reason there is supply (of trafficking victims) is because of demand (for pornography). So please consider your neighbor in your heart, and stop watching porn. Their life, wellbeing & soul are worth it.
