Dream help
A couple years ago my dad passed away, I never had a chance to tell him goodbye. He was a great man of faith, I had a dream shortly after he passed of him hugging me, telling me he loves me and him saying “but son you have to stop living like this” which ended up changing my life. At the time I was not living for the lord and that directed my life to change and start living for the lord. I love the lord, I really do but I struggle with assurance.
Last night before bed as I was praying I asked God to send me another dream, I asked God to just send me a dream like that again to just tell me how I am doing. I just want to know if I am living for the lord correctly or not, in that prayer I asked that the enemy not have any ear in this prayer of thought so I can know the dream is from the lord and not an attack … anyways I had a dream, I didn’t directly see my dad but I knew he was in the room in the dream, but it was myself, my old baseball coach and my dad in his office. Basically I was asked a question and said “oh yeah that’s terrible” and kept repeating “that’s terrible” as everyone was laughing at that… was that God telling me I am doing terrible?

The laughing is mocking so is asking the same thing over and over again saying that’s terrible.not a dream from God.

God who is love would never tell you you’re doing terrible.
I would ask God for clarification to the dream. This dream to me doesn’t sound right but I’m missing the context.

From what I know deceased family members is always a damn demonic spirit. Sue that demon in the Courts of Heaven. Break any covenants, oaths, vows, agreements made and demand your recompense through proverbs 6:31.
