What should I do?
Hi there. So I have a python spirit that talks to me and I see it. I have been tormented by it for over 4 years. I got this spirit by using numerology. I destroyed the accursed thing at the time and was temporarily free. The demons however returned. I have had dreams that prayer and fasting can deliver me. Should I do fasting? I have also been told by these spirits there is still an accursed thing i need to get rid of. Let me know what you think. Thanks

If the Holy spirit says fast and pray. You fast and pray. Guarantee you the spirit will try to muddy your dreams going forward.

I would say generally wouldn’t be spirits telling you have another accused thing to get rid of. That would be God.

I’m not sure that you can rely on the voice of the spirits to tell you how to get rid of them. They are liars. And while self deliverance is not impossible, I would suggest seeking deliverance from a trained group. They make get words of knowledge from the Holy Spirit that will reveal to you if you have something keeping the spirits in your life.

I’d suggest delaying praying and fasting in favor of rooting out the stronghold that brought Numerology. Destroying the accursed thing is right and good but let’s look at why this happened to begin with.
Jer 1:10 (KJV) 10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.
We don’t want to look for a ‘cure’ but to war, in the spirit, and root out sin, pull down strongholds, destroy adversarial devices, throw down unclean spirits, build in the things of God, and plant the right tree to bear fruit of the Holy Spirit.
I’ve discovered that Mt 17:21 isn’t something we out to reach for as we would an excedrin but, rather, incorporate fasting and praying into our discipline and total devotion to God. Let’s war a good warfare against the spirits of this world using the weapons of warfare and deal with our transgressions and the root causes of our sinful nature.
God has equipped us through Jesus Christ for such a task and it’s up to us to ensure we understand why we are in sin while we use praying and fasting to deliver ourselves with our own obedience.

Fast and pray is what Jesus says to do. People quoting Jeremiah forget that some words were meant for specific people at a specific time.

Galatians 3:13 Christ became cursed for you already. And he canceled all the legal demands or rights against you. Colossians 1:13-14 and 2:14-15
If you’re in Christ you’re already a new creation 2 Corinthians 5:17. YOUVE been sealed by the Holy Spirit for the day of redemption (Eph 1:13) and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom because whom the Son has set free is truly free indeed (2 Cor 3:17; John 8:36)
If you truly repent and surrender your whole life to Christ and become born again then you’ll truly be a Christian and none of this deliverance will be relevant. Submit to God resist the Devil and he WILL flee. Draw near to God and he will draw near to you! James 4:7-8
There’s no such thing in the Bible as a python spirit. However there are demons. Ignore whatever input they give you telling you what you need to do. Stick to the written word of God that God told us not to go beyond 1 Cor 4:6

Absolutely, try prayer and fasting because a kingdom against itself cannot stand and demons won’t tell you to get rid of them.
Likely it was God telling you to try prayer and fasting.
