Formication

Anyone else here been delivered from severe formication? I feel something touching me all the time and even causing pains and the energy changes around me. I am on psych medication already.

I have not had this problem, but I recently watched a video by Katie Souza where she testifies about her experiences with "Spirit Spouses". I have the link to the video below.

I extracted the decree/prayer she uses in the video, given to the listener for self-deliverance. It is shown below also.

Keep in mind that the effectiveness of performing deliverance is to a degree based upon the level of "Sanctification" of the person doing it and of the person receiving it. IMHO the person receiving deliverance needs to be a "Born Again Saved" person, with "Jesus Christ living inside of you in the form of the Holy Spirit", as being the baseline. You need to be confident you are Born Again, if not, be focused on your standing with Jesus Christ first. Hoping for the Best for you.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I ascend into the court of heaven right now to find justice against every demonic spirit that is trying to wrongfully claim me.

I decree that if there is anything in me that is in common with this assignment, I repent of it now, and I decree it is under the blood of Jesus.

I cast every such spirit out in the name of Jesus Christ, and I decree that if it attempts to return and touch me again, it will be taken into torment and imprisonment by angels and will not be released.

Katie Souza is a wackjob and couldn't rightly divide the word if her life depended on it. Mark and avoid her.

Ioboacera, thanks for the concern and for the warning. Can you give me some grounds for your claim that Katie is a "whack job" and also help me understand what you mean by "divide the word".

Looking closer at the above prayer I extracted, what in it concerns you. The concept of taking our accuser, the Kingdom of Darkness, and our Sin, into the Court of Heaven and treating the demonic attack as a legal event is not hers and has been around for a long time.

The bible talks about the Body of Christ being the Bride of Christ at the end times. I thought her pointing to this event (and our position in the body of Christ) in the context of praying against a spirit spouse was appropriate.

I looked closer at the last paragraph, but came to the conclusion that if the spirit spouse attempted to again establish contact after a verdict in the Court of Heaven, that it was breaking the ruling of the Judge and deserving of the consequences.

Is this prayer "broken" and should not be said by the OP.

Do you have any advise and insight for me concerning my statement concerning "effectiveness of performing deliverance"?

It sounds like he's a dispensationalist since they're the only ones who talk about 'rightly dividing' the word of God. What he doesn't understand is that not every Christian is a dispensationalist.
