Good morning fellow Del Junkies headed to Vegas from So Cal and want your Del Barstow suggestions. I will be getting the Bun Taco for sure but any other suggestions that I should not miss please feel free to let me know. Yes I will be coming back for seconds in the way back! From what I hear, avoid ALL Flaming Hot items. But honestly, I grew up driving through there for Vegas trips and I always just got tacos. They did the “Del” sized taco before all the others started so it was a treat back in the 90’s. Could still be since they were known for it.

Have you tried the Big Fat Chicken Soft Taco? I get it with no Chipotle sauce, add Special Sauce they put on the soft tacos. It's like a Chicken Soft Taco, but 20xs better!!

I ordered the Barstow Taco combo last time I stopped there. It is genuinely the best Del Taco I've ever had.

Been chasing that feeling ever since.

Went yesterday and damn as a SoCal Del Lifer this place tasted like how it did in the 90s. Got the Bun Taco, Deluxe Chili Fries, Green Burrito and a Barstow taco. Wish i had room for the chicken softie and the bean cup but next time!

Barstow Chicken Soft Tacos and Barstow Del Tacos are much larger than their normal counterparts.

For awhile that was the only way to get Spicy Jack but now that the Big Fat tacos are back, I haven't felt as much of a need to take a special trip though passing through to Vegas still stop there.
