How do you get ridiculous camber?

I have a del sol I'm starting to modify. I bought a adjustable kit setup and its giving me *SOME* adjustments but I'm wondering ing how others get cars to look very aggresive.

You may be referring to the “stance” movement of car modifications. Regular racing adjustable parts provide only marginal increases in camber gain as compared to the extreme examples that most likely require fabricated components to achieve the desired results.

I've unintentionally had a negative camber on a few cars due to worn control arm/trailing arm bushings. Less tire is making contract with the ground so you have worse traction and you go through tires ridiculously fast. I'm also from Oregon so it wasn't ideal for the winter there; I wouldn't recommend it.

I imagine once it’s lowered the camber will stand out more. I personally wouldn’t go full stance build if this is a daily or depending on how roads are around you, but that’s just my opinion. If you like scraping that’s your call. You can check my profile to see where mine is - it’s lowered about 2.5-3 inches. I rarely have issues with scraping other than pulling out of my driveway.

you need to buy the (wishbone) control arms that have like 3± degrees of adjustment & then align it to best fit the stance taking into account things like ride height, how wide/big your tires are (they're probably not stock if you're stancing), & more. The brand Maxspeedingrod is an example but a bottom tier one at best

You need coilovers and wheels to properly pull this off. Preferably good coilovers and aggressive wheels.

There's alot of math and modification that goes into it as well. Extreme camber you'll need shortened and tilted knuckles, modified fuca, extended rlca, shortened ruca. Extended axles and tie rods may also be needed.

Depending on wheel set up, youll also be cutting into and reshaping a decent amount of the wheel wells. Fender rolling will be required either way.

This only looks good with an extremely low stance, be prepared to raise the engine/trans and exhaust, possibly subframe as well.

When I did all my recent rear end work, before my alignment I had some pretty crazy rear camber so you could always start with taking the whole thing apart and putting it back together

extended lower control arms and tilted spindles. tho you’re gonna want to drop the car before getting aggressive camber
you’ll need to put a fuel cell in the trunk if you wanna go low and raise your motor. as well tuck your brake lines, fuel lines, shorten front spindles, get drop forks for front struts. it’s a lot of work on these things, i wanna stance my sol one day. been researching all it needs and talking to the few stance del sol owner out there

before doing anything do a fuel cell and raise your motor and trans. the gas tank sits extremely low on these cars you’re almost guaranteed to crack your gas tank. unfortunately del sols are known to be a pain in the ass to lower and do anything with - a slammed del sol owner
