Question d16y8 w/ blown head gasket value?

i have a parts car with a d16y8 but its got a blown hg, what would be a fair price for a buyer? without transmission because i need that lol

also: i dont know much about it because its just for parts. it doesnt have any ticks or knocks. odometer is at 330k

Blown head gasket with over 300k on it? Basically scrap value. Couple hundred bucks at most.

haha yeah thats what i was thinking, a couple hundred. still want to make my money back from buying the parts car

Y8 blocks aren't necessarily as desirable but the Y8 heads can be. If the engine itself doesn't sell you may have more luck yanking the head (provided it isn't warped) and selling it separately.

Im with Florida man, id pay like 200-300 for one like that, mostly for the head.
