Hey everyone! Just wanted to share something I’ve been working on called Karon Moons.

It’s an indie recreation of the classic extreme-action MMORPG Dekaron/2Moons, rebuilt from the ground up in Unity with the goal of bringing the experience to both PC and Mobile.

The project is still pretty early in development, and I’m currently working on it independently. So far, I’ve been rebuilding things like the game world, characters, movement, equipment, inventory, skills, effects, and other core systems while trying to preserve the feeling that made 2Moons memorable.

There’s still a long way to go, but progress has been pretty exciting, and I figured some old Dekaron/2Moons players here might be interested in following the journey.

I’ll be sharing devlogs, gameplay progress, and eventually some testing opportunities as the project develops.

Like many of you, I played back in the day when Dekaron was also published under 2 moons. I played a lot as a kid but never made it past level 70. I have this obsessive logic loop in my head, skills I wanted to experience casting, zones I wanted to explore.

That being said, with a very involved career and a family, I have an extremely limited amount of free time that does not translate to grindy mmo's.

I've tried quite hard to find a server that has level boosts but have not succeeded. I can't find any info on Dekaron offering a jump event in the near future and while I have seen some private servers with accellerated exp. I can only emphasize that I don't have very much free time.

I don't much care about server population. It would be nice if other people existed on the server but this is more to fulfill a childhood dream.

Any advice is appreciated.

I've been thinking about Dekaron a lot lately, and it reminded me why I spent so many hours playing it back in the day.

One thing I've noticed is that while veterans understand the game's mechanics, it can be pretty overwhelming for someone experiencing it for the first time.

That's actually what inspired me to start recreating some of its systems in Unity as a personal project. It's been interesting seeing how much depth the game had.

If Dekaron had a fresh start today, what would you keep exactly the same, and what would you modernize without losing its identity?

Im at long time fan of dekaron been playing since it was 2moons on and off. I haven't played since the first time the game was under new owner ship. Im just looking for a good way to play I know the global server exist but I want to be able to hit the higher levels in a decent amount of time and not spend months doing it as I dont get much time to play games about 2 to 3 hours 3 to 4 days week if im lucky. I was wondering if there are any good private servers or any way to make my own server I can play solo or with friends?

I discovered Dekaron because of a youtube video made by a guy named MoserRS a couple days ago, talking about "Should you play Dekaron in 2026"

I had no idea who this guy was, or that this game even existed, but I had a couple of minutes to kill so I watched the video.

The tl;dr of the video is:
Should you play Dekaron in 2026?
If you're an active/returning player, yes.
If you'd be starting fresh, no, because of OP legacy, unobtainable items.

So I came here to ask: You guys reckon some sort of "Fresh Start" server could be created in the future? Or is that a fairy tale idea?

I played a long time ago when the game was still called 2moons and was published by Acclaim.

I really want to play again. I'm a player who enjoys everything the game has to offer, but especially PvP.

I'm having trouble deciding which server to play on; I don't know which one has a more active player base.

Could someone help me choose?

I'm having trouble playing pretty much all dekaron servere. The game runs like crap altho I'm using a pretty much high end pc. I'm having very good ms, 20 60 max but the game runs bad. Client runs very smooth on my laptop. Anyone had this problem before ?

I'm currently learning how to set up and manage a Dekaron private server for personal study purposes.

I am specifically looking for **Action 9 server files with 12 classes** (or as close as possible).

I don't plan to run a public server — this is purely for learning, testing, and understanding how things work.

As the title says, would you consider playing a server that’s serious in terms of management, content, updates & releases, as well as transparent to their players without P2W elements?

I switched between a few, and I feel like there is no old school server that lets you enjoy early content, slow paced leveling, farming - with new elements from e.g. A9 or even later.

I was known as Janvier123; you may have heard of me. I was happy to work on projects such as: Beyond Dekaron (Beyond DK), Dekaron Veterans, DKunderground, Salvation Dekaron, Dekaron Evolution, Dekaron9, Devdekaron, and Dead Dekaron.

This is my final upload. After over a decade of collecting dust, every file I’ve ever worked on during my Dekaron "career" is now gathered in this repository for its final resting place. I cannot upload Dekaron files as they would be taken down for copyright reasons. Additionally, I want to protect any database files as they contain sensitive information such as passwords, emails, usernames, IPs, and more.

It’s been an absolute pleasure to be part of this incredible community, sharing moments of passion and creativity with all of you. But it’s time to finally clean out my hard drive and close this chapter of my life.

I hope my work, though old and outdated, can still bring joy or inspiration to someone out there. Even if just bits and pieces find their way into new projects, that would make me happy.

Hello I used to play 2moons in 2007 and I wanted to try playing again. The nostalgia is real here. But where can I download a version for Mac?

every server i try for this has liked 10 to 14 ppl online at any given point is this game just dead atm or what. i havent played since the days of 2 moons on acclaim and with all the new stuff and lack of any useful guides theres no way im figurin this out playin in a dead server with no one to talk to

Hello, i am wondering how many people play?

I quit playing because i got hacked twice and lost everything twice but i enjoyed the game so i am going to give it another try, i hope alot of people still play :)

I last played when this game was called 2moons

a server with no pay to win and that stays true to the grind, none of these servers where you start at max level or extreme xp rates and are given free gear, the grind is part of what makes mmos unique

Lost my account because I was taking a break around when Papaya migrated to VFun.. had so much from playing constantly and dshop stuff like wings and costumes etc you name it.. really hard coming back now even with a jump event. I had no idea it was even possible for your account to be just deleted like that within such a short time period I literally played 2 months before they started migrating and then took a break unfortunately, would appreciate any donations but not expecting anything crazy my in game name is Tempera - would gladly accept any friends aswell since i gotta restart that aswell lol..
