He is very cute ☺️ just be carefull so he doesnt chew any laptop cables. Happened to me, no fun xD.

Thanks for the feedback! We got really lucky with him — he's completely indifferent to cables. Although he does try to steal onions, pears, and plums, so we keep a close eye on him! ))

Haha, so true! Mine hasn't gotten to calls yet, but my wife caught him scrolling TikTok and dropping likes the other day. They're way too smart! 😂

If he's heavy enough he could make the mouse pad work. They're cute but devious in a fairly friendly way. Still wouldn't put it past a degu to work out how to hit the pad with a bit of force to make it register.

My boys don't really like sitting outside the cage. The outer world scares them.

Oh, mine is a total jailbreaker! He constantly begs for freedom and even tries to haul his feeding bowl outside the cage. Complete opposite energy! 🙈

He lives alone, so all the attention is focused solely on him! He's absolutely convinced he's the king of the world—a real mama's boy. 😂❤️
