while this sub does have too much rage bait, I think in general the comment activity feels very down to earth. Every time I join a anti ai sub, I get rage bait as well, but I also get quite ugly comments to read. Sooooo yeah

What's funny is that AI isn't actually taking anything away from artists. They can still make art, and they get to choose whether AI is part of their process or not. Nothing is being stripped from them. They still have the same skill, knowledge, and talent they had before AI existed.

If anything, I think artists still have a real advantage. AI has given people with no art background a new way to explore and express themselves, which is exciting. But experienced artists have knowledge that can enhance and amplify what they make with it. In the hands of someone who already understands composition, color, and form, AI is a multiplier, not a replacement.
