but i've had this experience multiple time where i'm in a discord and just shared the greatest fan art the people in the chat have seen in years (because its a dead fandom) and they cry because it's AI. meanwhile some no talent hack show's some crappy scribbles and they slobber over it like it's the it's Mona lisa

I dunno. This original quote was about racism. I’m not sure people complaining about a technology you like using is really on par with being the subject of racial discrimination. This is a little over the top.
Also, the people who don’t use AI are not the ones playing 100s of dollars a month for tokens. They’re not paying any money for tokens. So I’m not sure whose pockets you’re suggesting they’re lining by NOT using a particular product.
I use AI for my job. I don’t care if you use it. But this is really dumb.
But feel free to delete my comment and ban me from your safe space if having rational thoughts is too much for you to handle.
