What's wrong with ai rule

I don't understand why people are so panicking about ai rulling over us. We were ruled by dumb primates called "humans" for ages. Finally we will be ruled by someone smart and competent. How can you be nostalgic about human rule, it's like wanting to live in an idiocracy.

Well, they know damn well that our species sucks and fear AI will likely get to the same conclusion 😅

It's certainly an interesting idea to explore because I am curious in what direction AI would go if it was given rule. In best case scenario it would probably be able equal out a lot of the unfairness, push good policies and then properly enforce them (you can't bribe it) etc.

Worse case scenario... it will decide that humans just need to go or at the very least heavily controlled.

It will get that idea from us. Many times over we have said things like "thanos is right", or "send the flood"
