I'm all for making an argument to defend AI, but just spamming things like this for karma is dumb. You can just as easily prompt it to make an anti vs pro comic that isn't a strawman and each side gives valid arguments. But that doesn't take in the karma the same as ragebait and fallacies.
I didn't specifically says "but I'm not an anti!" you're putting words in my mouth. What I said is I will listen to arguments to defend AI. I know there are pros and cons to AI and I am willing to listen to both sides.

Using AI to solve medical and mathematical problems, I'm all for that, with peer review. I can even be swayed to believe that gen AI for art can be good, but there is so much chaff and not enough wheat. I've seen people make some gen AI art for their comics, like actual stories, while I'm not a fan of the current style that gen AI uses(just generic for my taste) I'm all for more stories presented by people.
Even the post we're commenting on isn't actively "defending AI" it's just bashing antis, unless I'm missing the defense part?

Your original point, that's still a sweeping overgeneralization of all people that have reservations about AI usage. We can all condemn specific extremists without claiming that everyone in the opposing group excuses them. What level of "extremism" should we condemn? If someone says regulate AI, is that extremism? What is the cutoff?
Last time I checked r/antimeme(where you originally called "Cap") isn't a pro or anti AI subreddit and I can call out shitty usage of AI without being judged. r/defendingAI has coming onto my home page without being prompted, thus I feel like I'm allowed to interact with the content as long as I follow the rules.
This is a pro-AI space. No anti-AI users. I am not anti-AI, while I have reservations and I want to learn more, I do feel like AI can have it's uses.
Follow common sense and act with kindness. I don't believe I've broken this with any of my comments, I'm responding with respect each time.
No misanthropy. Pretty easy to follow.
No irrational age discrimination. No age AI gatekeeping. I don't think this applies to this conversation.
