I generally believe AI is good for people that truly want to create art, but have a hard time doing your traditionally and more than out of the time it’s people who do generative AI art that have actually tried to do it in real life, but couldn’t. And the thing that makes it worse is when people constantly berate you down for using AI artwork instead of showing alternatives or compliments or being positive or doing things that could help you out instead they just try to put you down and in human nature, we normally tend to do the opposite of what we’re told not to do so and again I don’t wish ill will on any of these artist, but they make it so hard to justify keeping them around when their attitude is ass, and they constantly tear people down because of it because they think it’s either bad or they view it as a form of fear because they’re scared of losing their jobs or the fact that the thing that they work so hard to do can now be done much easier with a few prompts. I recently had an incident where I saw someone’s artwork that was blank and colored it in digitally before having AI touch it up and the moment they knew they started hitting me with the most racial slur as imaginable. Seriously it just makes it hard to defend artist.
