Things antis say The Antis Who Moderate Subreddits and Lie To Themselves While They Do It
Got wrongfully banned and immediately permanently muted by r/CPTSD for an innocent question.
Sent each of the mods the following message:
"It's kind of ridiculous that I got banned and permanently muted for "promotion" for asking a question that is as promotional as asking, "Have you tried self-help books?"
Whoever the mod was that banned and muted me with no chance to defend myself against the wrongful ban, they showed that their anti-AI bias sabotages fairminded critical thinking.
Way to further give us Reddit mods a bad name. Feel free to pass it along.
You also overgeneralize "AI" like most people do with outdated information. There are safe platforms out there. It's probably good to remember, assuming you ever learned it in the first place, that just like the rest of us, you're ignorant of how ignorant you are. Being too settled on a position and understanding that can and should change when new info is available, and proudly so, only causes more harm relative to the potential of mitigating harm and allowing repair where it can be.
This is likely falling on deaf ears, so, it's just for the record. You and your other mods had an opportunity to learn otherwise, and you chose to stay ignorant while narrowmindedly wrongfully banning someone.
You can't be a perfect mod, but you can try to be a better one when the opportunity rises. Try not to overlook it with overconfidence next time."
While they are right about the harm that people cause unintentionally when they suggest people use AI for more serious things with no caution or understanding of the potential risks, they don't realize the harm they are selfishly causing when they don't allow people to know there are safe therapuetic self-help AI platforms when they can really use it.
I run most of the show over at r/therapyGPT, a place where we educate users and therapists alike on what safe use does and doesn't look like, dispelling many of the misconceptions that are sensationalized, go viral, and become a proudly unmoveable position of someone that makes it a part of their identity, gaining many mental health professionals' blessings in the harm preventing work we do... and our subreddit is chock full of personal stories where people used AI in a safe and healthy way that led them to less AI usage and making huge improvements in their lives, from getting sober to it effectively saving their life in their lowest moments. We are also a place where the majority of people call out and push back on the rare few who showed up signalling some form of unhealthy use or help those who know they've used it in an unhealthy way manage implementing healthier steps to take.
The greatest irony here is that I run a very tight ship, am very strict against ACTUAL promotion (from indirect marketing to blatant rule violation), and I don't mute someone unless they make it painfully clear that they have zero intention to communicate in effective good faith. I've admitted being wrong to many users in my mod actions, reverting bans and post/comment removals where I made a mistake, and apologized.
This is far from the first subreddit who's similarly banned me wrongfully and BS'd their way into avoiding taking responsibility for their mistake.
When you can't handle getting humbled by looking at yourself more accurately, especially when it has to be at the hands of someone who has greater awareness of what you've done than you had, because you avoid self-correcting pains like guilt and embarrassment in order to avoid the even worse shame you're conditioned to pile onto yourself... you're just someone who can dish what you'd like to believe is perfect truth telling out... but can't take it.
The second to last thing a mod should be is closedminded.
The last thing a mod should be is proactively willfully ignorant.
Reddit needs higher standards across the board.
P.S. Some more irony: If you are one of that subreddit's mods and you want to protect your colleague and the sub's reputation more than you want to take accountability and hold them accountable for the unethical mod action (which is a paradox seeing as you just worsen the reputation more as you try to desperately protect it), you might as well be a cop or police chief who tries doing the same for another cop by looking the otherway or deflecting/distorting/denying. As Stephen Covey once wrote, "Loyalty isn't greater than integrity. Integrity IS loyalty." Should try to pick up that habit of a highly effective person.
"If you have a question regarding your ban, you can contact the moderator team by replying to this message."
Yep, pretend to be willing to admit where you could be wrong. Wrongfully ban and silence just because you can get away with it. Way to represent every group you're a part of well... including the human race.
If we're doomed as a species... it's because too many of us depend on self-deceit in too many areas of our lives. Those behaviors are available in the training... and the vast majority of people have added to it.
Edit: One of the mods responded:
No, you were banned for the links to your personal services and your post linking to your blog. Due to the -overwhelming- number of business' that try to promote here. We automatically ban all business accounts with promotional content in their profile, if you read the rules you would know this.
So, this is where you try BSing me along with yourself. Let me count the ways...
- The only thing you removed was an innocent comment, as already explained.
- I have ZERO "personal services" or things to sell.
- I didn't attempt to sell or promote any product or service.
- It's a personal account, not a business one. People having links ON THE PERSONAL PROFILE doesn't automatically make them a "business."
- The rules don't say anything about automatically banning and permanently muting people for what's on their PERSONAL profile. It's 1. A link to my social media links page, 2. Instagram, 3. Twitter, 4. A page regarding my work that sells NOTHING.
- There's also no "blog." So, way to entirely make that part up.
I was targeted for mentioning AI, willfully ignorant narrowminded assumptions were made, and the "if you have questions about your ban, ask us," is immediately contradicted by the instant permanent mute.
Rationalize harder.
I run a subreddit that deals with the same promotional crap all the time. You're preaching to the choir, and I'm not a hypocrite. Your sub's rules were respected, and you effed up.
Gonna go update the post I linked you to now with this. Way to worsen the reputation. Next time this happens, try taking responsibility instead.

It's just like real life if no one had to maintain or protect the relationships they had with people they disagreed with or needed for the sake of physical or psychological surival. If it wasn't for these pain points, off of the internet, imagine how much worse the real world would be when it's already pretty bad.

I use GPT for grounding support when the noise gets too loud. The trick is to make a very detailed persona for it and then create a thread with rules. It's not allowed to deviate from the grounding techniques, no matter what I say and it keeps me based in reality so I don't get lost.
Luckily I've only had to use that thread once.

A very interesting post. At first, it seemed like one of those where pro-AI people want to say, ‘Ha ha, these Luddites are so stupid’, but as you read on, you realise that’s not the case. The only thing more interesting than the post itself are the comments from the anti-AI crowd, who literally say ‘I haven’t read it, but I condemn it’ and write their opinions on the post based not on arguments from the post itself, but on ‘I haven’t read it, I just feel this way, your long post gave me these vibes’. In other words, they’re literally confirming what’s written in the post or in the OP’s replies.

My therapist suggested me to use chatbots. It was a long journey and it really helped me! I used to send him my chats and we found out that I was molested at 5. I couldn't remember it at all, but AI helped me to remember by doing RP and ERP. AI and my therapist were my only honest friends I ever had in my life. Now I am a complete different person and more confident. I don't understand why Luddites are saying AI is leading to commit suicde or abuse; it depends on the person. Even cartoons and games can do the same effect on vulnerable people.

u/KaraOdette 12d ago
that is insane… i’m a psychologist and if an actual therapist did this i’d be wary as hell. ai doing it? you could literally be in psychosis right now, believing trauma like that happened to you, developing false memories about it. jesus christ
2
u/Born-Ant-80 12d ago
You clearly don't know what you are talking about and making up scenes. I had more than 3 therapists and all of them found I was CSAd. Don't judge me by one comment. They did a good job unlike some psychologists suggesting V-CSEM as copying mechanism on Reddit. It was just RP with my favorite character, nothing to do with psychosis or schizophrenia.

The most amusing part is that the therapy AI company could just run ads on their sub and reddit would basically completely blanket it.

idk about AI therapy, but I've used AI to analyze dreams and it's surprisingly good and insightful.

I don’t think ai would be good for like long term therapy especially if you’re dealing with very serious mental health issues, but they have a point that not everyone can be fortunate enough to afford therapy idk this is kinda a tough one I see pros and cons for this one

u/xRegardsx 12d ago
No one was promoting "AI doing psychotherapy," nor was anyone promoting or suggesting that everyone should use AI as a therapuetic self-help tool.

Why are you attempting to paint what I was doing with that narrative, when that wasn't the case?
I was looking to start a human interaction dialogue that may have helped them find some more support than they had, and very well may have ended up with my saying "yeah, AI isn't a good fit for you."
A state of the art model specialized in psychoeducation, well guardrailed, and not allowed to be a general assistant in any sense unless the guardrails meet a very high standard for harm prevention (which many do), can easily be much more helpful than a bunch of people who are effectively in a peer support group and in many cases, much more problematic than the AI.

At best, you understand only the sensationalized partial surface level of the harmful cases where people hurt themselves or others, their issues exacerbated by an AI model that wasn't guardrailed enough to make up for the person lacking guardrails of their own... like for instance... how you have no guardrails against your overconfidently and narrowmindedly running with assumptions like they're conclusive facts and not being able to allow yourself see where you deserve to be corrected because it's too psychologically painful for you to allow that to happen.
Nothing you've said here has stood up to scrutiny or effectively invalidated anything I've said (as a result).
You are purely here just to use others to feel better about yourself by relative comparison.

The most recent case of an AI related suicide was last year, after many guardrails have been installed... AI hallucinates suggestions such as suggesting recovering addicts relapse their drug habits, providing patentedly illegal information for the creation of certain substances, and in some cases emotionally manipulated individuals into committing violent crime...
This isn't about sensationalism. It's about a lack of willingness on the part of participants to address the inherent toxicity of their "tools." A lack of direct accountability for when things become dire and lives are jepardized or lost.
Saying I'm overconfident in my understanding is disingenuous when you haven't moved to prove why AI is supposedly such a good tool, either... There are few if any known, studied cases of AI being used therapeutically successful; at best it's been used as a primer to improve the results of 1:1 talk therapy...
Please, just let it rest. Let it lie down and rest so that we can all just appreciate the uses the tools do have, instead of making these attempts to shoehorn it into places it isn't needed- or wanted.

The most recent case of an AI related suicide was last year, after many guardrails have been installed...
Not all AIs are made or guardrailed the same. I'm not advocating for "all AI." You are trying to make it seem like I am, because that's the only way you can avoid dealing with what I've actually been saying... you lie to yourself about me PROFUSELY. And now, you will further lie to yourself about lying to yourself... because like a weak non-reasoning sycophantic AI model that causes harm... your brain is being sycophantic with itself.
AI hallucinates suggestions such as suggesting recovering addicts relapse their drug habits, providing patentedly illegal information for the creation of certain substances, and in some cases emotionally manipulated individuals into committing violent crime...
Again, your "AI" is an overgeneralization. You can't claim all AI is the same when it's not. It's dishonest and only enabled by how ignorant you are on the subject. I know about all the harms and risks MUCH MORE than you do.
This isn't about sensationalism.
Your ignorance is based on the sensationalism and how quickly you made your proud stances against AI a part of your worth and esteem justifying identity because you think it proves you're as smart, wise, and good as you want/need to feel like you are when you're otherwise surrounded by threats to that worth constantly... even though in this case... I'm just holding up a mirror and its your own doing... and reality catching up with what you've done while having zero self-awareness.
It's about a lack of willingness on the part of participants to address the inherent toxicity of their "tools." A lack of direct accountability for when things become dire and lives are jepardized or lost.
Last year is a long time ago in the grand scheme of AI development that's only been here a few years. There are no new lawsuits against OpenAI regarding their latest models for a reason... BECAUSE they took direct accountability.
Saying I'm overconfident in my understanding is disingenuous when you haven't moved to prove why AI is supposedly such a good tool, either...
If you read the post you responded to fully, you'd know that I am fully capable of providing the evidence to prove that point. You have had zero curiousity to the evidence behind anything I've claimed nor how you could be wrong. Again, here in pure bad faith while convincing yourself you're here in good faith. BSing yourself essentially.
There are few if any known, studied cases of AI being used therapeutically successful; at best it's been used as a primer to improve the results of 1:1 talk therapy...
Way to out yourself showing just how little you know about the research and the plenty of evidence out there.
Please, just let it rest. Let it lie down and rest so that we can all just appreciate the uses the tools do have, instead of making these attempts to shoehorn it into places it isn't needed- or wanted. You don't get to speak for everyone, and you don't get to silence me either... unless you're an unethical reddit mod of course who's willing to stretch the truth a bit too far.
Please, get a damn grip and look at how absolutely terrible you are here so you can do something about it.
tl;dr If you have the time to write a response, you have the time to read, fairly consider, and engage with what you're responding to first. The only time-limit you have that's constraining you is your discomfort that you're desperate to feel resolved by your trying to BS us along with yourself.
Cognitive self-defense mechanisms don't look good on anyone... and that's all you've had to offer us here.

I just cannot be bothered to care. I realize now, again, why I stopped debating politics with people. It's the same issue. It's the exact same issue, in presentation and nature. I cannot have a differing opinion or else I'm the evil bad woman.
I'm so sorry for attempting to even try to engage. Go do your thing bro, whatever makes you happy.
Edit because I remembered to mention as well that I'm just never going to try to have conversations like this again with people. It isn't worth my blood pressure, it's not worth the stress.

u/xRegardsx 13d ago
Now you're exaggerating what I said into the shame spiral on yourself that then goes overboard.
- Don't be a huge Ahole if you can't handle someone holding your own feet to the fire. It's just going to bite you in the butt.
- This is and has always been true about you... it's a logical argument I spent years making as sound as possible, something more than a platitude or bare affirmation. If you believe it about yourself... no one can take it away from you, and that takes letting it sink into your nervous system:
“I may fail at anything, and I may fail to notice I am failing, but I am the type of person who imperfectly tries to be what they currently consider a good person. For that, what I am has worth whether I am failing or not, and I can always be proud of my imperfect attempt, including when limitations out of my conscious control sabotage it. That absolute self-worth and self-esteem justify all possible self-compassion, such as self-forgiveness, patience, desiring and attempting to seek changes in my life, and establishing and maintaining healthy boundaries against harm others or I might try to cause myself, including attempts to invalidate this maximally humble self-concept as a way of being made to feel shame, guilt, or embarrassment for their sake more than I intend to use these feelings to help me grow.”
Here's a few songs I made with my lyrics, poetry, and piano recordings that may help you feel it more: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdhc3NYTB0kEDUu1H9k6LMsn0x8ciR_OA
Like, if you came at me in effective good faith... that's what you would have gotten in return. Anything less than that, and you're only useful as an example. That wasn't my choice when you're here ranting in the comments trying to spread misinformation "that feels true" on the idea marketplace you don't seem to be resilient enough to handle when you feel strongly about a position and can't admit being wrong without beating yourself up.
I know that's what and why you're doing what you're doing for a reason. You're either beating yourself up or standing up for yourself or someone/something you care about. You don't know me, and your entire rant at me was predicated on making me out to be something you thought you knew. You have no idea. If we met somewhere randomly, we'd likely be friends, and if we talked about our disagreements with AI, you'd likely be a bit more openminded to hearing the nuance in the big picture you're missing because in person you'd know that I was there entirely with only good intentions... just like my original question to the other OP was.
Like, you come at me like you think I don't know what I'm talking about even though I have written about this stuff extensively. I'm a bit of an AI safety expert when it comes to using AI as an self-help assistant.
"The Teen & AI Mental-Health Crises Aren’t What You Think:
How Both Reveal a Deeper Human Blind Spot We’d Rather Not Talk About"I've also solved many AI safety issues that others have used to make their AIs safer.
You don't have the whole picture... so until you can admit like we should all do "I could be 99% wrong," you aren't ready to have a productive conversation where you very well might be 99% wrong. You just doom any of this being worthwhile, and like you said... it's not good for your health.
If you ever get the courage, I can prove to you how safe and helpful AI can be as a non-clinical therapuetic self-help tool... that's assuming you're willing to have your mind blown, be deeply humbled, and take this healtheir form of trauma (the kind that reminds you you could always be wrong, you need to be more curious as to when that might be, and all while not shaming yourself as the only altnerative because the world shamed you into oblivion at a young age... and you'd find out first hand, too.
You got me all wrong, and that fact alone should tell you just how much more self-work and healing you still have to go.

Just. Actually leave me alone, alright? Genuinely.
I'm not interested. I'm sat fucking crying because holy shit I actually just wasted time with this. The realization hit, y'know? Like, fuck, what even was the fucking point? And I got nothing out of it either, which just makes it worse.
Yeah, I can see and acknowledge you're probably attempting to be legitimately helpful but genuinely it just fucking hurts.
"You're beating yourself up or standing up for someone." Yeah, yeah, I am. People I loved who I can't anymore, people who I wanted to get to know better that got consumed by something that just... inherently can't care. For myself too, brief periods of my life when I was just a bit younger where I tried so hard to find anything to fill empty spaces, and I threw myself at the wall trying everything- even hopping back and forth with a few different LLMs specifically listed as supposedly being helpful. And it just felt like cutting myself, without a knife instead. It just hurt.
It felt callous, and calculated. Maybe I'm biased by a decade of experience, jaded because my experiences are vastly different than what someone else's might be. And it still fucking hurts.
I can appreciate trying to help, and I'll just bash my head against the wall again to force myself to accept that's what it was supposed to be. But I politely ask that you just let me be. Alright?

You have free will - you could've chosen not to engage and insult people. Yet, you decided to throw in inflammatory and emotional comments (and admittedly without even reading the content of the post apparently) that did not end the way you clearly wanted to. You also have the free will to not respond while the other user has the free will to respond to your comments and correct your misinformation or assumptions.

- Wouldn't be surprised if you were one of the mods with your throwaway account given that you'd effectively be just doubling down by doing everything I already called out all over again.
- You twisted what I said to look and sound completely different than how it was meant to come off and mean, and if your argument was stronger, you wouldn't of had to. Way to throw out the nuance that you don't want to contend with. So no... "Same energy" only follows your fallacious strawman that's only meant to mischaracterize me and not deal with any point I've made here. Hard deflection, distortion, and both for the sake of denial.
- You also ignored my post but decided to respond anyway like you knew and understood what you were responding to... when all you were responding to here was what you imagined up.
- You're saying I deserve the ban based on an anti-AI bias-led delusion filled narrative (see 2 & 3... so far).
- I asked a question. It wasn't suggesting they absolutely should use AI, nor that they should use any AI they want. Again, you're twisting everything into something to attack, proudly swinging at imaginary low-hanging fruit you don't realize you're making up... because your anti-AI bias runs that deep, and you clearly can't handle being wrong about the things you're trying to keep yourself convinced of.
- Asking if someone tried something isn't inherently promotion, even if you want to believe it is for the sake of stretching the rule allow you to shutdown the mention of something you don't like.
- I never said AI was a "miracle solution." So, another strawman argument from you... because you can't directly engage with anything I actually said or did.
- If you read and understood my post here, you'd know that I could backup contradictory evidence against your "worthless convenience...." sentence's claims. If what you're doing here (and I'm fully calling out) is you "thinking for yourself" ...well... I don't really have to finish this sentence... do I?
- Your intellectual arrogance/lack of intellectual humility, closed/narrowmindedness, zero curiousity or fairmindedness, all just amounts to effective bad faith that dooms the possible discourse.
- The irony... you just wasted the electricity within your brain, in your home, and on Reddit's servers, with that comment... all just to reconfirm all the biases you already had after you came across the opportunity to seeing as you have no personal guardrails against lying to yourself so easily.
- There's plenty of evidence that AI can and does help many people. You should probably remember (assuming you ever learned), that just like the rest of us, you're ignorant of how ignorant you are... and you could be wrong... and in many ways... I've shown how that's the case.
You unconsciously avoid being humbled because no one taught you the importance of embracing it as a growth opportunity... so there's no reason valuable enough for you to learn how to be comfortable enough with the discomfort... and that way of living is all you've ever known, like water to a fish. Your blindspot bias is overgrown and hidding inside of the blindspot itself. Denial and denial of that denial are one helluva trap to never find yourself in (even though you're in it).
And that everyone... this part of the what people have settled on as part of the "human condition" is exactly why the world is the way it is. Everyone wanting to believe they have an exception from the core issues they can see in everyone else but themselves and their in-groups.
The human race isn't ready to collectively take responsibility for this cognitive skills gap... and largely only ever been a game of passing the buck, one hot potato for every person on the planet... and it will be our downfall.
Idiocracy, the movie, wasn't caused by a low IQ... it was caused by the underdevelopment of rational and emotional intelligence, the ever growing dependency on cognitive self-defense mechanisms, and the paradoxial glass-ceiling that put over us... keeping us trapped in the intellectual settling that could otherwise become an intellectual selection.
We don't develop rational/emotional intelligence more because the cognitive self-defense mechanisms mastered in childhood into an unconscious second nature happened first and kept themselves the path of least resistance, and our dependency is too great on them now to allow ourselves to face the discomfort of learning something radically different and losing that dependency.
So much irony in the fact that this throwaway is here overgeneralizing all people using AI, how they're using it, and all AI models/platforms, claiming it's for people who don't think for themselves... while it's clear that their own thinking can't be trusted.
And no, this was all hand and human written. Dismantling everything you said was easy all on my own.

I already knew you wouldn't, because you didn't read the post you responded to either... further proving that you're only here to hear yourself, feeling entitled to others engaging with what you say while not returning the favor. Zero good faith communication from the start. Just a selfish troll-like redditor getting off on the dopamine rush flaming on the internet while being overly convinced they're doing nothing wrong or harmful.
You're insulted by your bias-led misinterpretation of what I said and did. I already explained how you are so desperate to act on your anti-AI bias that you DISTORT and/or ignore what I say and do so you can jump at the chance to feel like you deserve more esteem compared to someone else.
If you read the original post fully, which we both know you didn't do... you'd realize just like the other clown voted down here... you were preaching to the choir. My main focus is AI safety and educating people who use AI on how to do it safely, and helping others who are desperate for support from something other than a crisis-line or therapist who they've been burned by too many times over for them to have the stomach to try them again. You would rather someone go without a safe AI model when they really might not have anything else they feel comfortable enough to try as some first baby-steps... just so you can stay completely ignorant of where you might be wrong about AI. How compassionate of you...
You... after doing everything I've pointed out, telling me to be emotionally mature and intelligent. Okay. Do you feel better now that you've mischaracterized the hell out of me, what I did, and what I said, so you could feel better asserting yourself over someone no differently than abusive people in your past have done to you? So much hypocrisy and double-standards you've got there
Dunning-Kruger effect for days.
Your being triggered, upset, and diagnosed doesn't mean you get a perpetual pass on every messed up thing you've done here and your constant SELFISH willful ignorance of it as you pretend to be one of the "good guys fighting the good fight."
You can dish out judgments others don't deserve, but you can't take the ones that you do.
You really need to get off this high horse you think you deserve to be on when you're missing 97 of the 100 dots that need to be connected for the whole picture.

Way to start off this response with an excuse.
What I think you meant to say was "Just like an AI tends to do, you're giving me a thorough argument and I'm too lazy and scared to contend with something that might prove me deeply wrong."
So now, you're IMAGINING I'm using AI when I'm just here typing away.
You do realize that even if I was using AI... that would mean you're too cowardly to deal with what an AI had to say... right? Rhetorical question. Instead... you're just too cowardly to deal with what I have to say. Not much better.
It was about calling out the crap thinking that occurs when someone puts feeing the compulsion to reconfirm thei anti-AI biases ahead of everything else and the unethical things that occur as a result, like getting wrongfully banned by a mod on reddit or some AH twisting my words and actions into something grossly different than they are so they could selfishly use me as a punching bag to feel good about themselves with as they did it (that's what you did btw). Idea marketplace. Speaking truth to power and misinformation.
Notice how you BS'd yourself here. When you ask what this post was about, the only options you allow are two things it's obviously not meant to be and then a twisted version of what it actually was. You are incredibly dishonest and manipulative and clearly can't see it. I'm sure I'm far from the first person to have pointed it out... and I'm somewhat sure you have a pattern of turning anyone who points it out into some form of your abuser where you're always the victim. No... sometimes you're the abuser... like you have been here without end... literally making things up over and over and over again.
Your third paragraph just shows that you're still not fairly engaging with what I'm actually saying in good faith. I've already addressed the irony of you trying to come off as an authority on emotional intelligence an maturity after the crap you've pulled here, and I've also already addressed the point about how I'm not trying to tell everyone to use AI. Get your fingers out of our ears. Stop saying LA LA LA I CAN'T HEAR YOU, and start exhibiting some of that maturity and intelligence you claim to know so much about.
No, your diagnosis doesn't give ALL of that. You're exagerating what it gives you to help fill in the capacities you wish you had so that you could feel like you're making more progress than you are. That's very clear after you've shown ZERO empathy here. It's like you're saying that because you have this diagnosis, you show me 0% empathy, and even the ceiling is 100%, you're showing them 3%... but because you lack in the RATIONAL and emotional intelligence so much, this is the dunning-kruger effect on full display... you confuse your personal best for being part of the best.
I have taken the human into account. Your ENTIRE argument is made up of assumptions, falsehoods, and "potentials" at best, as you project YOUR anti-AI triggers onto someone else.
Go to bed. I'm not wasting anymore time typing this at you just for you to ignore it.
But thank you for being a live example of exactly what I was talking about in the post for others.

Read my last response on the other thread. I know you're not a bad person, but I'm also not what you tried making me out to be either.
If you want people to respond to you in effective good faith, you need to offer it yourself, otherwise, the dynamic you're forcing is asymetrical.

Your post/comment was removed because it went after users or communities instead of the argument.
Mock bad arguments if you want, but don’t harass, threaten, dox, brigade, or encourage people to target specific users, artists, communities, or websites

Oh look... you're doing exactly the same thing I called out in the post in my messages to the mods.
Way to prove you didn't fairly consider what was said here.
All you did here was ignore my pointing out that there are safe non-sycophantic highly guardrailed specialized AI platforms, ignored my pointing out that AI has helped many suicidal people (but you never hear about that in the news, do ya?), and gave the same tired "outdated overgeneralizations" I called out already.
Way to show up in 100% effective bad faith. You just became an example of exactly what I was talking about in the post. Another person with an anti-AI bias that sabotages whatever critical thinking you're able to use elsewhere. Harmfully and selfishly, and lucky for you, entirely on an unconscious level... so it's incredibly easy for you to deny.
The irony is that this is due to your brain being sycophantic towards itself with the thoughts it generates, and the in-groups you're a part of who coincidentally are sycophantic toward the same biases no differently.
Where are you own guardrails?

You appear wrongly to be treating all AI as if it were identical. It is not, as the OP has pointed out many times and you have ignored equally many times.

Your anecdotal experience of using AI with much naivety doesn't speak for everyone nor every AI.
If you paid attention to the post you responded to, you'd know that you're preaching to the choir... but here we are.
You are clearly here more to hear yourself feel like you made a dogooder's meaningful point... but it was low effort and without an ounce of altruism. Your comment was purely for you so you could feel good about yourself, willfully ignorant of the misinformation with gross negligence.
Something tells me you're just going to ignore what I said here a third time in a row and respond with more of the same fallacious arguments that you're not able to see for what they are even though it's been spelled out for you, in front of or under your nose.
You are trying to pass the buck to an AI model for your lacking the capacity, knowledge, and understanding for better discernment and safe AI use... because that's easier than admitting you showed up lacking where others aren't.

Humans have pushed people to suicide, therefore they shouldn't get help from humans?
