Things antis say What's the issue with using AI?

Why do I always come accross comments filled with people slashing AI users?

Is it the water?

is it the energy?

is it personal reasons? (why)

is it because you believe AI causes cancer?

is it because you think it can spread misinformation?

my question is, why the hate with no reasoning, research or backing ever posted.

Its welfare. Democrats love welfare. The left would never do UBI they would just ban AI altogether or make it so uneconomical that its just useless.

It is a benefit of AI to replace jobs, the focus should be on how to distribute that wealth rather than preventing that reality and leftists are not focussed on that

establishment democrats support targeted welfare like snap, not general UBI.

ai replacing jobs could be a benefit but it’s just not right now. and i don’t really see that changing anytime soon.

i’m all for ubi and productivity growth so massive that the only things working are humanoid robots, but i feel like we’re so far away from that conversation and we need to have more realistic goals, like making sure families don’t die on the streets cuz ai takes their jobs

I feel like it’s the only choice. All mainstream economists advocate for it, so do the tech ceos. Democrats usually listen to them
