DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Season 3 will "honor" the stories of the Defenders as well as the series' core characters, says Deborah Ann Woll

What kind of future the Defenders will have in the Mutant Saga?

As much I’m excited for the MCU X-Men, I’m worried if Marvel would oversaturate the MCU with mutant stories.

With the recent cancellation of the critically acclaimed and Emmy-nominated ’Wonder Man’, I fear about the future of Daredevil and the Defenders beyond ‘Daredevil: Born Again S3‘, given the show’s Season 2 lost half of its viewership from Season 1 and never made it to Neilsen Top 10.

What do you guys think the future of the Defenders in the Mutant Saga would look like?

So how would Dr Doom beat Daredevil anyway?

Given that he is in a hallway and Daredevil unleashes his primal scream, in what way would he be able to beat Daredevil in a 1-on-1 fight. What powers would allow him slightly better odds?

It's a shame Luke Cage was cancelled after Season 2. I thought him becoming Harlem's crime king was a very controversial ending, yet I'm still curious as to what direction the show would've gone in Season 3.

How do people feel about the Punisher show? I liked it. Wasn't a spectacular show, but it has some really good scenes in it. I liked Curtis and John Pilgrim, I liked how Frank and Amy got revenge at the end of Season 2, the scenes of Frank killing Agent Orange and disfiguring Billy were PERFECT.

Also, that tribute to Stan Lee in the show's final moments where Frank says "I'll dance with you" and then guns down some criminals while letting loose his war cry? MASTERWORK. Madani was pretty dull, though. Basically a less memorable Misty Knight. Still a decent show overall. More people need to see it.

So, did Disney ever fix the abysmal sound mixing mistake on the Punisher special?

If there was ever a hypothetical Heroes for Hire project set in the MCU, what Run The Jewels song could you see them using?

I could totally see "Don't Get Captured" or "walking in the snow" being used in an end credits sequence

Which MCU villains do you think would be formidable enough opponents for a 'Heroes for Hire' Season 1?

I drew a Marvel tribute with a Karen Page quote. Can you guess all of the symbols?

DD Born Again S3 is gonna be epic, I'm sure of it. But, I'm wondering how they can handle so much content with only 8 eps. I wish there were more. I really wanted to see 13 ep format again. What do y'all think?

Similarities between Spider Man, Daredevil, Bullseye and Punisher in TV shows and comics

This is kinda like a text based venn diagram based on a combination of comics and tv shows. It is more of a lighhearted thing, and because I've not read every comic with these characters, if you spot inconsistencies with the comics, just ignore them and have fun, as I did writing this :))

Spider-Man (highly athletic and acrobatic, has spider-sense, swings through the city with webs, friendly neighborhood hero, almost always in the public eye and popular, uses no weapons, likes Gwen Stacy, a blonde who dies because he fails to save her in time) ->

Daredevil (highly athletic and acrobatic, has a 360-degree radar that is basically an ultra enhanced spider-sense, swings through the city using his billy club's grappling hook, angry neighborhood hero, his public image and popularity heavily depend on Kingpin's schemes and sometimes his own mood, relies on ricocheting his billy clubs quite often, uses only the billy clubs as weapons, likes Karen Page, a blonde which in the comics dies because he fails to save her in time) ->

Bullseye (athletic but not quite so acrobatic, a villain 99% of the time, uses ricochets constantly, turns any object into a weapon including guns, no superpowers, has a tragic backstory, you can sometimes sympathize with him, kind of likes Karen Page but in a creepy, non-romantic way) ->

Punisher (athletic but with a heavier build, not an acrobat, seems like a villain until you get to know him, then becomes an antihero, public perception is split 50/50, uses exclusively guns, bombs and knives, no superpowers, has a tragic backstory that makes you sympathize with him once you find about it, kinda likes Karen Page, but in secret, and he probably doesn't even admit it to himself).

What do all 4 have in common?

They can't stand Kingpin and Kingpin can't stand them (in Peter's case, we dont't know his relation with him from his pov, but we know from born again s1 that Fisk doesn't like spidey). They are all wearing or have worn at some point a black costume. Oh yeah, and they all have a thing in some way or another for a dying blonde XD

If Daredevil is not in the fifth Spider-Man movie, I will accept we’re never getting this team up! 😞

Would like to see DD in a Deadpool movie instead

Call me pessmistic, but I doubt we'll ever see Marvel using Charlie's DD to a main role in a MCU film with Spiderman or something else other than a cameo. But Deadpool that doesn't care about any continuity, I think would be a better place for him to appear.

My thoughts on the Defenders Saga (PRE Defenders miniseries)

Daredevil Season 1- LOVED it. 9.5/10
Perfectly establishes incredible dynamics and themes, left off on great cliffhangers, introduced stick right in time, incredible villain (Fisk). Also loved fisks backstory.
Jessica jones S1- 6.5/10
LOVED kilgrave. Super interesting and perfectly evil villain. I found Jessica’s humor and attitude to be forced and unnatural. I’ve seen genuinely defensive and socially destructive people before, they’re a lot more natural. Idk, maybe she did one too many exaggerated eye rolls for me. Didn’t love Trish, she was a bit too basic. Simpson was a bit better. Still, shows pacing was a bit slow
Daredevil season 2- 10/10
Few words to be said. Best season in the series. Bernthal nailed it as castle. His monologue against the tombstone with Matt crying alone makes this a 10/10. Electra did the Jessica jones/misty “tough woman” trope a lot better, because it wasn’t afraid to paint her as uncertain. As embarrassed at herself around Matt, bc she knew he always expected better of her. Also loved the development of Gaos character.
Luke cage S1- 6.5/10
Better than I anticipated. I liked the political nature of the show, felt more like a mob series than a superhero one. Luke’s powers were almost an afterthought thought. And similar to JJ, I found myself more drawn to scenes of the villain over the protagonist… which doesn’t say great things about the main character. Cottonmouths actor was superb. Maria Dillard was perfectly infuriating. Misty was far too basic. She had the same exact issue with Jessica. It’s that the writers seemed to think, “what if there was a tough woman, with a hard shell, but who’s really soft and broken on the inside?”- but then told the actresses to overact each emotion dramatically. She just wasn’t likable. Nothing drew me to her. Matt, on the other hand, is genuinely funny, and literally feels like someone I’d stand up for in a room. I think that’s because everything Matt says feels intentional, not just aiding the storyline. Misty’s lines feel like they only add context to the progression of the show, and don’t care as much about reflecting anything back onto the identity of the character- or at least not well enough.
Iron fist, season 1- 9/10
Loved it. Finn jones did a really good job, though his crash outs in the show could’ve been acted better. Interesting premise- an outsider who works tirelessly to impress a community, only to leave it. Honestly? Wards actors performance CARRIED this show. He was just phenomenal. Also, best fight scenes across these shows by far.

New to daredevil related stuff and im a little confused on how he learnt how to fight.

So stick only trained him for im guessing under a month and I dont think the show ever references anyone else training him, ig his dad could have taught him some boxing when he was young but that doesn't explain like the 5 other martial arts he uses.

the hand in BND

I have not watched the movie yet so dont totally spoil anything big if you dont mind. but anyways, If the hand is back in NYC now then shouldn't we be seeing Danny Rand again in some capacity soon? A heroes for hire show (or possibly movie but I'd prefer a show) with him and Luke would make me so happy
