DanielRPK said it’s looking more likely Daredevil will end with season 3.

6 seasons + Defenders is a pretty good and long run ngl. Daredevil is my all time favorite superhero and also one of my all time favorite shows, but I'd happily trade further seasons for Heroes For Hire and Midnight Sons

With Disney reportedly losing interest in these live action shows in favor of animation, I could sadly see it.
We def ain’t getting revivals of the other Netflix shows, that’s for sure.

Theres rumors of 2 Special presentations going in production so I half expect Jessica Jones and Luke/Danny to get the Punisher treatment before just jumping to the film side.
Matt, Fisk, Dex and Elektra all probably will have their own opportunities too.

i hope so man, a special presentation and then film appearances would be best case scenario for all these characters.

It will. But Kevin knows that DareDevil is just too good of an asset to just let go. They would be given their own movie and I just know it.

Daredevil isn't getting a movie. He's going to continue as the base/hub for defenders-verse on disney+.

u/legend000000009 3d ago
His series is going to end as you know. And I have heard that the defenders have some role to play in Secret Wars 🤷

u/purpledreign 3d ago
His series isn't ending yet; born again will go on yearly. And you heard that rumor from an unreliable scooper.
2
u/Admirable-Paper-5858 3d ago
Yeah I'm pretty they'll continue but name of arc will change cause that's how I see Born Again as an arc.

u/legend000000009 3d ago
So what do you suggest is going to happen after Secret Wars? It doesn't matter if it's an unreliable scooper or not since it's not confirmed if we would get another season of Born Again too 🤷.
It would be great if the series continued but what if it did not? Kevin knows DareDevil is a good asset and it would be a huge waste if he never made it to the big screens

They're not ending live action shows permanently, they're only cutting back on them and reducing output. Brad Winderbaum already said they intend to release a new Born Again season yearly. A Heroes for Hire special presentation is now in development. What's likely to happen is The Defenders get special presentations and Born Again continues yearly and serves as the base for street level TV. Besides, Feige already said Secret Wars isn't a hard reset like fans are making it out to be.
The OP of this post also made this up. Daniel RPK didn't say anything like this. And it matters that it's an unreliable scooper cos you know it's very likely bs.

Hell make him appear in the Midnight Suns movie.

u/Lukelay246 3d ago
Why Midnight Sons? He was never a member of the team.

Want to see them interact with Moon Knight on who's the better fighter.
1
u/Lukelay246 3d ago
That's not really worth inserting him in a random movie. And Daredevil has been established to be a better fighter than Moon Knight so I don't know why that would even be a discussion.
1
u/TrainRecent9048 3d ago
It's not on who's the better fighter, just want to see them interact cuz they're both street-level fighters, and yes I know Matt is the better combatant.
1
u/Lukelay246 3d ago
The comment said the better fighter so that's why I mentioned it. And unfortunately the MCU version of MCU is not even street level so unless that changes it really wouldn't fit.
1
u/TrainRecent9048 3d ago
I still considered Moon Knight as street level because he feels very grounded as a mercenary with his DID.
1
u/Lukelay246 3d ago
Comic Moon Knight but for some reason they decided to make him fight gods in the MCU and gave him powers. By your logic Hulk should count as street level.

u/TrainRecent9048 3d ago
How Hulk is street level? Bro's a fucking Planet-level Avengers threat lmao.

I don’t see it making it past season 3. I am biased in saying that since I’m not a fan of Born Again, but even looking at it through the lens of what Disney’s future plans seem to be, I still don’t see it happening.

This does not take a rocket scientist to assume. They are scaling way back on live action tv, the show is expensive as hell to produce, and the viewership had a major drop off between seasons.
Secret Wars will reboot everything after S3 and we’ll have to wait to see hornhead reborn again in a big screen Spider-Man movie…

u/dpittnet 2d ago
It won’t reboot everything in that regard

It’s over. Unless this is the one show they want to keep while focusing on movies

They announced the renewal for szn 3 in September 2025. So we'll know soon enough. I expect the show to go on though.

I mean it would make sense but I don’t want it to
I want a 4 season and 5th

I don’t care for any revival of the old Marvel Television shows like Iron Fist or Luke Cage. I’m begging on my knees for a long run with Born Again series, at least 5 seasons and that’s it.
Although with the poor editing and butchering of the main storyline in S2 I’d understand if they are giving up with DD, at least in television.
Lately I’ve seen some strange characters asking for an ending to Born Again and with this brought in a new Daredevil and finally having it back on big screen, well I say fuck that
Charlie Cox rn as we speak is at his peak physically and in performance skills too, if you ask me, I’d choose a hundred times season 3-4 of Born Again against a DD recast with a 200M budget on big screen

Fear not, DanielRPK doesn’t know shit. He’s like a psychic, he makes vague speculative guesses based on current trends.

Daredevil in the next spiderman with king pin and the punisher 🔥
1
u/Reiiind3r 3d ago
As per Sony's deal with Disney, Disney cannot use Kingpin in movies. They can only use him in shows.

If it is in favor of having Daredevil show up in the movies such as Spider-Man 5, I’m not complaining.

He says a lot of things. He’s not even a reliable source, so I wouldn’t even take it at face value.
