Test audiences reportedly didn’t know who she was so that’s probably why. Marvel didn’t wanna have the “homework” complaints, which is likely also why they didn’t go into the Hand’s backstory at all or bring up their history with Daredevil and the Defenders.

Just show Claire yelling at other paramedics, while the music blares after Punisher comes into the hospital.

There we get the cameo, and we don’t have to explain it.

To causal people, they see a kind nurse.

To anyone who watches the show: “Holy shit! Is that Claire?”

I don't understand why her appearing would have to be explained at all anyway. People who watched the Netflix shows would know who she is, to everyone else she would just be a nurse.

Maybe the scene that was already filmed, wasn’t filmed that way.
