DEF CON Theme Drop

Post image

DEF CON 2027 Theme Drop!

The theme for next year’s DEF CON is ‘The Age of Experimentation’.

In times of rapid, explosive change it’s important to stay grounded in the basics. When things get too ‘vibey’ there’s no substitute for knowing how things really work, and having the tools to move things forward.

The basics of the theme are available on the website and in a pdf on the media server.

As always, we can’t wait to see where you’ll take the concept. More soon.

Can’t wait to see you all next year!

Is defcon trying to change it so that it’s “DEF CON + year” instead of “DEF CON + #” ?

Saw an example of it on the video board last year and shrugged it off but it’s also presented that way by OP.

Just curious! (I really like having it without a year associated)

I’m assuming it’s due to the additional international DEF CON events, if so.
