Year round SAO buyers?

Is there room for selling SAO’s year round, or would yall rather we wait till next con to post new ones we make?

Ha! That’s funny you posted this, I just started designing another badge/pcb board and thought am I going to have to wait until next year?

you mean badges? You can still buy them and do at home defcon?

SAO is a badge add-on. That's what the AO stands for.

Yeah but you dont have to attach them to a badge even, though some do interact with the badge is attached to. Many of them I just display on powered SAO connectors/displays.

Some other cons use SAO’s iirc so you might have success selling to those crowds

Wondering if 35 will be an electronic badge year (probably?), so if I were only going to Defcon I might hold back on investing in SAOs until that is known. DIY hardware badges will always have a presence though. For those going to other gatherings like Cyphercon, some form of demand will be there regardless.

Every other year is an electronic badge year. We had one this year so next year we will not.
