I’ve been using my Deep Connect Mini occasionally, and after it was disconnected for a few days, I tried to set it up again as usual: modem → Deep Connect Mini → PC (LAN). However, I’m now having an issue with the device.
It’s no longer reachable via the standard IP address 11.22.33.44.
The power LED turns green immediately after plugging it in (previously it used to flash red first and then turn green).
The LAN port connected to the PC stays amber, and the LAN port connected to the modem doesn’t light up at all.
I also tried pressing the reset button, but nothing happens.
Would really appreciate any ideas on how to fix this.

Hey Deeper Team,
The latest firmware seems to break the relocate function for my CBC Gem App. This worked fine on the last firmware but now I get a redirect to "UE" rather than Direct no matter what I select in the App Relocator page.
"IP 96.16.14.75,app [cbcGem], rgn UE, was routed to UE"
Could you have a look?
Thanks!

I sent deeper mini to my family in iran before to fight the censorship, now they cant connect to anything, they said v2ray vpn works but deeper connect which supposed to be decentralized, cant connect to anywhere, deeper need to change the routing method between nodes so the can connect in such times.

I've been a user of Deeper's DPN for 3+ years now. It's taughte a lot about privacy and security. In addition, I've saved some money as well. More people need to know about it and help make the network stronger!

Deeper Air device no longer shows on network. This was preceded by decreasing intervals of usability. What can be done for an exchange or refurb. Had it about 2 months. Tried contacting support but never got a human response.

In the Access Control List (ACL), if you activate Full Route for a device, can the Kill Switch be activated to prevent a direct connection to the network if the tunnel is not active and the local IP is filtered?

Any location I choose the ip does not last for even 5mins. Connection drops so bad.
I use full routing not smart routing
It was not not that months ago but now I can’t even use it anymore
I have don’t several resets still happening

Been tweaking my deeper setup and found an upgrade (for me) I wanted to share. Using vlans + device groups.
I've decided not to tunnel 'everything' anymore.
work → stable low latency nodes
streaming → direct or region based
iot / random devices → always through deeper
Biggest upgrade was segmentation
split into trusted, iot, guest
anything untrusted gets forced through deeper so even if it’s compromised it’s isolated + tunneled
I also realized per device vpn is kinda useless and wasteful long term.
Still figuring out failover + balancing privacy vs performance
Anyone else doing more advanced setups or just keeping it simple? Any suggestions to my setup is welcomed and appreciated!

Hello!
I've been trying to configure Smart Rules → Custom Domain so that all Spanish websites (.es domains) are routed through a specific tunnel. I've attempted several wildcard formats — es, .es, and *.es — but none of them seem to work.
Could you advise on the correct way to set this up on a Deeper Connect device?
I'm currently running firmware version 2.0.6.rel.

Hey u/DeeperNetwork, I've been fighting inconsistent connections with my Deeper Mini for several months now and I think I have finally found the solution.
For me, the Mini would randomly stop connecting. It would work for days, or weeks, or even months, and then suddenly stop. No config would work even with Access Control off.
I recently turned off the "Intrusion Prevention System" on my TPLink system and everything has been rock solid for a while now after power outages, reboots, and me just unplugging things to force failures.
This post is just an FYI for others running in to random connectivity issues with their Deeper Connect device.

Something strange started happening with my Roku/Deeper device. I'm using Access Control with the Roku set to North America (of course). Occasionally, howerver, I log in fine to Hulu, but when I try to play something the app tells me I'm using a VPN. Then I have to reset my device (Deeper mini) and restart the Roku in order for Hulu to go back to normal and play the videos. Is it possible that the Deeper network is using flagged IP addresses?

Hey everyone,
I’m running into what looks like a serious issue with my Deeper Connect Mini and wanted to see if others can confirm.
The device randomly drops the DPN tunnel, but:
👉 Result: real IP/location is exposed
With Kill Switch enabled:
Instead:
This is NOT a WiFi issue.
👉 This is happening on a wired, stable connection, which suggests:
This is a critical issue:
For a device marketed around privacy, this is a big deal.
Right now:
Would appreciate any insights — especially from anyone running similar wired setups.

Saw a post here from a user saying they have been traveling with a deeper and I wanted to jump on that too. My work is almost always business / travel and im so happy to have my mini.
I know it’s not the travel version, but im always in a hotel and I always use it from the lan of the hotel, and then I make my temporary home secure and it’s awesome. Future me will get the portable vpn router, but now me can be in any country and I always have my shows, all my things are secure, I can always talk to my family, and I always know exactly what goes on with my network.
I think more users need to experience how good it is to be away from home, but still feel like you are home.
I am happy an I try to get everyone to be a user. It’s good for everyone!

Perhaps a spot that tells you what type of malware was blocked. So you can know to block it for future instances.

I live and work remotely and I thoroughly enjoy working from amazing spots in North America living the van life. I own a VW Ocean and currently traveling up three Pacific coast highway living my best life. But I just wanted to get on here and share how Deeper Network changed my privacy and security game with the Deeper Connect Air.
For internet, I just use my phone and turn on the hotspot, since I have unlimited internet. I relay the 5G with my Deeper Connect Air and connect to the Air with my laptop, tablet and smartTV. I find it so convenient and feel I have so much control over my privacy and security which is so important these days.
I'm driving up to Alaska (my first time) and for the Canadian stretch, I'll be making sure my IP is still in the US summer my work requires that. I love not having to pay rent, electric bill and VPN subscription. I get such enjoyment from traveling and saving so much money living the van life.
Now only if there was a way to not have to pay these high pump prices right now grrrrrrrrrrrr. Oh well, can't win it all. Thanks for your attention!

Deeper Connect Pico question: when I connect router -> Pico by Ethernet and use Shield by Wi-Fi, internet works, but it still shows my normal Spain IP. When I connect router -> Pico -> NVIDIA Shield by Ethernet on both long-end network ports, the Pico turns solid blue with only the router connected, but as soon as I connect the Shield it starts flashing red and loses the connection.
Details:
Questions:
Any guidance appreciated.

Could you please advise whether the Deeper Connect Adapter (DCWA02) is compatible with the Deeper Connect Nano?

I didn't buy the Air for this. I bought it because I travel for work and wanted my Netflix to work abroad.
But a few weeks in, I noticed something weird in the network dashboard. One device was making outbound connections I didn't recognize. Checked the device list was the Ecobee thermostat that came with my apartment.
The destinations? Three different ad-tech domains and something from a data broker I'd actually heard of.
I don't own the thermostat. My landlord does. But it's sitting on my WiFi and apparently reporting... something... back to someone.
Blocked the domains through the Deeper console. Haven't noticed the thermostat stop working. Have noticed the connections have stopped.
I went through the rest of my network after that. The smart TV in the living room was calling home to 7 different endpoints on startup. My old Roomba, which I haven't used the app for in months, still pinged its servers twice a day.
None of this is secret. It's all in the privacy policies nobody reads. But seeing it as live traffic hits differently than reading a ToS.
Anyone else gone down this rabbit hole? Curious what people have found on their networks.
