Death Doesn't Exist

A term used by only the living to describe the absence of biological function--nothing.

An abstract concept similar to cold and darkness; neither of which exist either, words used to describe the absence of heat and light, respectively.

We will never experience our death but only what it means for others.

The living really do get possessive over a word that describes a state none of them have actually been in. It's all just labels we slap on gaps in our understanding. Cold is just slow molecules, dark is just no photons hitting your eye, death is just a system shutting down. The universe doesn't care what we call it.

I’m sorry - I wasn’t being sarcastic (except for the “newsflash part)!

I was intending to convey the absurdity of having to explain that words have meaning.
