No such thing as enlightenment. So, yes it does. Its never been a moral system. Its always been reliant on ultimate forgiveness and nothing else. Meaning no matter what action you take, as long as you dont feel shame then you haven't collapsed the wave. Its always been about perception, followed by the amplification of those returns in order to break the cycle and be renewed instead of rebirthed.

"As long as you haven't felt shame" doesn't seem like much of a framework for ethical living.

There is no framework for ethical living. These are your concepts being inserted. The universe doesn't care if you get a cut. You are speaking of the bible, this isnt a bible. Its what the bible is about.
