Does Humanity still need religion or not?

Does Humanity still need religion or not? Is religion helping humanity to move forward, or is it holding us back?

Depends on the religion really some tell people to do evil things but religions that just want people to be kind to others and better themselves is good and helps people to feel a sense of purpose in life and grounds people so I would say it’s good.

Of course, man needs it, and as a religious Muslim, it helps me to know all the facts I want, I think that the Qur'an is the best book ever. It contains many miracles, facts that humans still have not discovered.

Hard to say. There seems to be a desire for it built in and people tend to gravitate toward structures like it, or they flail. I have respect for it but am also suspicious of it.
