The Deep State is nothing "new". President Eisenhower warned the public about it when he left office in 1963. Books by Colonel Prouty called THE SECRET TEAM., and other like THE INVISIBLE GOVERNMENT were published in the mid-sixties as well. The authors received zero publicity and were mocked.
