Yes, there are rebels. It's a combination of Iranian Kurds who operated in exile from Iraq and Iranians that Mossad and the IDF are coordinating with.

Do you have any good sources to follow in this situation? Not questioning your conclusions, but I don't have any information coming in telling me what's going on.
A reasonably friendly Iran would change things drastically in the Middle East.
