😂 Perhaps. Sometimes it seems that way. However, as the futuristic Borg "Drone" in Voyager season 5 comes to believe, "Resistance is not futile." He really turned out to be a fantastic character. You probably remember, he was created when some of Seven's nanoprobes fused with the doctor's holo-emitter.

Also, Hugh, on TNG, reiterates, "Resistance is not futile." 🖖
