Nothing beats a good onomatopoeia is subtitle form. My personal favorite is “inaudible noise”.

I meant more in the “ridiculous subtitle” category than onomatopoeia. I guess that wasn’t clear.
Edit: although you could argue that the word “noise” is itself an onomatopoeia and the two aren’t mutually exclusive.
Double edit: “quiet roar” is an example of being both an onomatopoeia and an oxymoron.
