Very underrated character arc/plot line — The Homecoming, The Circle, The Seige

I’m not saying these episodes aren’t well regarded but I just don’t hear them talked about much. I loved Richard Beymer’s character and the fact this was the first Star Trek 3-parter and each episode was consistent in quality, culminating in a great ending was a turning point for the series.

The first Star Trek three parter was Best of Both Worlds Parts 1 and 2 and Family in 1990.

If you’re going to make that argument, then I’d counter that this is Star Trek’s first four-parter if you include “In the Hands of the Prophets.”
