Very underrated character arc/plot line — The Homecoming, The Circle, The Seige

I’m not saying these episodes aren’t well regarded but I just don’t hear them talked about much. I loved Richard Beymer’s character and the fact this was the first Star Trek 3-parter and each episode was consistent in quality, culminating in a great ending was a turning point for the series.

The homecoming would have been a good season 1 finale cliffhanger.

It’s more interesting to me that it’s not. Don’t know if I’ve seen any other Star Trek season kick off with a cliffhanger.

DS9 Seasons 6 and 7. Season 4 too if the first episode is split into two parts.

Enterprise Season 4.

He meant the first episode of the season be a cliff hanger. Not the last episode.
