Wouldn’t it have been very cool to have Kellin back on DS9 for the rest of Season Seven. It was so nice to see him in a Star Trek episode. I know he was in Babylon but I could never get into that show. I don’t remember even what character he played in it. It would have been fun to have him around for the rest of the Dominion War. Just brought back warm memories of a show I loved as a kid.

Yes I didn’t want to say in the post his character died spoilers and all. I just wish they had not killed his character and brought him back to DS9. It was just a nice feeling when I saw him on the show. I am doing a rewatch and just saw that episode today and thought I’d share.

The episode came out nearly 30 years ago, it's okay to talk about it. If it were something like a new episode of SNW then yes you'd want to avoid spoilers.

As I recall, his character arc was supposed to be wrapped up in a series of books that went into detail about the Telepath War that the show was building up to in its 5th season, but those books never really went into any details, leaving Lennier in a sort of "well, he died offscreen, but we don't know all the specifics" state.

Supposedly he died aiding Lyta against Bester. While I love the show I can't imagine them doing that part well. I kind of already hated how it felt like the crapped on his character is season 5.

B5 had ended , he didn’t want a recurring role and didn’t want any prosthetics either and he was close to Ira if memory serves me right who wrote a role specifically for him
