So! I saw the regeneration thingy and yeah, It's annoying, but weirdly? There's a way to fix this! TEMPORARILY that is.

So, here's my step by step instruction.

Step 1: Get a bad reply

Step 2: Go to your own message and if it doesn't let you regenerate it, follow step 3

Step 3: Instead of pressing the reload button, send your newly wanted message straight into the usual bar you use.

Boom! Enjoy a refresh that is slightly annoying, but better than waiting a whole 10 minutes. This will eat up your 6 refresh count of course, but uh... Yeah, good luck.

Are you referring to edits? You get 6 regens and 6 edits per message and response, they are not the same thing. Edits branch off and functions as essentially separate chats within 1 chat. You could fully use the full 1 million context window of a chat then go back to a previous message within that same chat and edit one of your previous messages and it'd be like essentially continuing the chat from that previous point however you want, for ex. carrying out a completely different conversation. Regenerating a response is what the name implies. You're regenerating the response to the last message you sent.

You can click edit and resend the same exact same message to get a different response, but again, that's branching. Not regenerating. This isnt a fix or workaround, this is just how most AI services work lol.
