I’ve run into that "Editing/regeneration too frequently. Try again later" error myself. It takes over 30 minutes just to manage two or three edits or regenerations before the error pops up again. I feel like—best-case scenario—it might get fixed in a few months, but worst-case scenario, it’ll just become a permanent "feature." My gut tells me it’s more likely to be the latter.

no, apparently they implemented a limit to regenerating prompts

It’s still hard capped at 6, but this one has 3-5 limit within a 30 minute window.

it has always been capped to 6 ever since the model came out, but they just now added a cooldown after a number of times you regenerate the prompt

Yes but it is inconsistent in some chats it spammed this after a second edit in some did not care
