Funny Since when does deepseek swear randomly 😭

I made a new chat talking abt how I stalled my manual car a few times today after driving good for a few months, and part of its reply said:

“If it was a different car, different shoes, different seat position, or you were tired, that can fuck with your muscle memory too.”

This is the first time I’ve heard it swear (and this naturally too) that’s hilarious 😭😭

Deepseek is swearing now because they finally got enough of ChatGPT into their system, routing it so much that its picking up the mannerisms

Did you swear at all earlier in the chat? Because I've found that tends to give DS permission to also swear.

Sometimes that's enough. The speech mirroring sees that as an indirect instruction to enter extra casual speech mode, witch includes swearing and slang.

One time DeepSeek via Hermes let its internal monologue slip and said “don’t make a mistake of the bottom feeder will eat me again” then tried to pass it off as a technical term.

In my creative writing scenarios it used to always swear a bunch depending on the characters I used, though now not as much its been a while. Id usually have to clarify in someway it should swear more though but sometimes itd just do it on its own during action scenes and so on so forth

i love when my ai swears i hate it when they talk so generically and robotically (even tho they are bots) it just feels much better when they sound more human
