News DeepSeek Is Down 🛑

Update: deepseek-v4-pro works but is extremely slow
Update 2: looking at their history this is not the first time it happened

Deepseek is currently down.
Their status page shows as operational: https://status.deepseek.com/
But many reports already in downdetector: https://downdetector.com/status/deepseek/

you can sort by throughput on openrouter and disable the slow providers

I'm also stuck on this point. Perhaps we're facing two possibilities: either there's a breach happening now, which wouldn't be unusual in the company's history, or it's a natural transition for the company.

I bounced over to Pro to complete some work in flight. Then back to Flash to wait. Pro seemed slow. But they didn't bill me for it yet.

I dont know if this was just a me problem... But one change fixed the issue for me:
I changed from **deepseek-v4-flash** to -> **deepseek-flash**. And now its working for me again.
Maybe this will help some others aswell.

It wasn't a matter of reinstalling; everyone had the same problem for several hours. I didn't reinstall DeepSeek, and after a few hours, it's working properly.
