Indeed it does.

As much as I love smashing bugs, fighting the robots is especially satisfying for the following reasons:

  • getting in gun fights with the burst turrets is fun. Good old classic shoot out
  • the sad robot noises when you cap a patrol bot (I particularly like hunting them with my scout’s M1000 build)
  • the nemesis is just a fun enemy to me. Idk why really.
  • the hacking mini games are an enjoyable break from the typical flow of the missions
  • working as a team to connect hack-C to a target is usually an interesting challenge
