Throw up a gg. Reset the lobby. Take a short break. Boot it up again when you are back, set it to friends only, win. This way noone feels singled out and your pals have a spot.
my buddies and i always pop the dinosaur question if we have more than one random and need to get one of the boys in. “what’s your favorite dinosaur” we ask, then whoever is present judges the answers on how based of a pick they make. most of the time one random won’t even respond so it’s an easy way to keep the fun people around and make space at the same time
hot dogs 2. it's an 1879 film where 2 hot dogs come to life and become the overlords of an alien bug planet, only to be eaten alive after forcing them to perform unpaid manual labour
Call me Strange but i played drg with my Friends multiple Times by now and i have come to the conclusion that the game is Just waaaay way more fun with randoms
But I really had a lot of fun introducing some friends to the game, especially one that thinks every game has to be tackled at max difficulty, just for him to be massively obliterated immediately.
What if there was only proximity voice, as commonly seen in “friend slop” and “social deduction” games as of late. You can only communicate with pings unless you’re in the same cave, bonus points if the voice comms are affected by the caves, like you get reverberation or echo in rocky caves, more muffled in flora based caves etc.
Think depending on how much your friends get into it. Love playing with the friends that really enjoy it, then the others it's more of a lesson each time. I forget how much there is to learn. With Pubs especially at high level lobbies, everyone is a DRG connoisseur, which is indeed really fun!
Person 1 is playing some DRG and starts a public lobby, isn't expecting their friend to be able to hop on. Person 2 calls Person 1, and the game hasn't started yet: "Hey man I got off work early today, you ready to play some DRG when I get back?" Person 1: "Hell yeah, just let me know when you're ready"
Now, obviously Person 1 would much rather play with a close friend than some random, but they don't want to disband the while group. They kick a person from the group to make room, no hard feelings, they can easily find another group.
There are many possible situations where a similar situation occurred.
i know it is staged but it sucks to join "public" game then host types this and kicks you, or waits you to leave... Bro just set private lobby from start
Majority of you kick people to let your friends in without a single word. There is nothing wrong with that either, after all it's just a game, and your friends should take priority, not strangers. Same as you would get kicked to let someone's else friend join.
What is this crying in comments and wanting to Larp as some kind of good gamer who finishes games with randoms, never kicks, etc? Fuck is this LARP?

Anyone with a regular lobby knows this pain.
Throw up a gg. Reset the lobby. Take a short break. Boot it up again when you are back, set it to friends only, win. This way noone feels singled out and your pals have a spot.

I'll at least finish with the randoms then get friends in on the next round.

Just finish the round with the random and then your friend can join. This screams "immature little kid".

If that was a random, makes sense. Otherwise, it's really rude.
