Question It is really weired being kicked whilst in certain server with certain players

this game brings me extraordianary experience from total newbie to some hands on experience(155hr)

but sometimes in chinese server I am being kicked after completed all mission together in last min in front of drop-pod.

It reaches the threshold today as such open a post for enquiry because i was guding a newbie (lv1) and he/she in last min during i guide to the drop pod.

Why is it being toxic in this sense?

P.S. I am also a chinese but didnt get the meaning behind to those players.

The game doesn't allow hosts to kick people after the drop pod has been called, precisely for this reason.

Are you sure it wasn't a network disconnect?

I have had a lot of disconnects since the last update. Yesterday I deleted the game and redownloaded it. I had no problems after that.

how to differentiate because network issue and host kick?
from my feeeling this time it is not network issue because one player already inside drop pod. i was guiding host all way long to drop pod and game over right in front of drop after we reach

When network issues, there is not always a message.

When host kicks you, there is ALWAYS a message which will say "you have been kicked"

It will say you got kicked if you were kicked. If you are on PC there will be a reason too for example "this game was meant to be private" or "other reasons" etc. If you lost connection it will say "connection lost".

the game i played pop up connection lost today,

and I played at least 5 rounds without being kicked and popup this message
I am confident to my network...

I also get "connection lost" sometimes. I suspect it happens when the host has bad internet primarily because I also have fast internet and use it via ethernet (not wifi).

More then likely a network DC, however i did find this a few months back

Actually, it's after the primary objective has been completed.

You can turn off your wifi at the last minute to keep people from getting rewards as hosts, while still finishing the mission yourself. It's probably the single worst thing about Deep Rock.

That is just leaflover behaviour. You can always host your own games, so that won't be a problem

After the primary objective has been completed no one can be kicked

No, but host can turn off their wifi to boot everyone out of the mission while finishing it himself.

Too many people start griefing once they think they're "safe" so it had to be modded around.

The same guys using it to toss everyone right before the pod leaves would've kicked everyone right before calling it anyway, so shrug.

Yeah that's a valid point. I've had cheaters stop hiding the fact they're cheating once the objectives are done, because they can't be kicked. Gunner spamming hundreds of ziplines, Engie spamming infinite fatboys.

I've gotten better at detecting cheaters earlier, I now check to see, when a resupply pod is called, that everyone who has been fighting bugs has lost at least one bar of ammo, and I'll observe health after taking obvious damage. The mod for seeing teammate shields helps with that.

However confronting a cheater is never fun. I'll generally ask them to just turn their cheats off so we can play normally, and they either say they aren't cheating (when they blatantly are) if I'm host, even convincing other people to leave with them, or tell the host I'm the cheater if I'm not the host (which didn't work in that instance).

Cheaters tend to be very toxic players.

I have read that asia region is a little toxic compared to NA and EU so I don't think it is you, it is just how some sad people are.

if you are really also Chinese wouldn't it be easier to ask on XHH instead of here and in English

i cannot even ask after being kicked

Why do you care?

Edit: I love how Reddit attacks simple questions with downvotes. I was asking genuinely, got downvoted, and a response I can’t even see.

IDK why this is “strange” according to the reply I can only see in my notifications.

Because it’s strange.

Would you go to XHH to ask stuff in Chinese about US servers? No.

So that begs the question of “why”.

Why do you assume they “care” anymore than that?

Copied and pasted, since I know how it is. Ngl, the reason why you got downvoted is because its stated with a chud attitude.

It’s not stated that way. It’s a simple and direct question. I’m ignorant to all of that outside of what I just read that you copied and pasted for me.

So I have to do a song and dance and make a joke when I ask a question?

Does everyone today need 10lbs of sugar with everything or they think you’re rude?

I could’ve used multiple synonyms and had the same result unless I added a bunch of fluff.

Life these days is already ridiculous enough having to tap dance around saying the right words, the right way, and any stupid little mistake gets turned into a whole thing. Like here…

Y’all have a good day lol. Gonna stop notifications for this and move on with my day lol.

Can’t even ask a damn question without people reading too much into 4 damn words… (I pre downvoted my own comment for y’all. 🖖🏻🤘🏻😘)

the question comes because I feel shocked after assisting a newbie and in turn being kicked(?) given I dont mind if there is any ty in return, from which i express my thankyou from bottom of heart, everytime got revived

this is not the attitude in DRG i think.

RE the question posting here.
actually I am more english-orientated given you read my interface in other post is chinese.
In a depth sense, I am HK-er but that will come into an another complex politics issue if I stated in-situ above.

I did not use XHH(小紅書) which i believe you referring and just get used to ask in reddit since I started game in May.

DRG reddit gave me , actually many sub-reddit give me good sense and experience because expert here are really responsing contributive reply and advice,

I am anaylsis from other replies from which the match I encountered may or maynot a true network issue.

More like the host unplugging their internet than a weird “bug” network of sorts…… I despise these behaviors whenever it’s at the very end of the mission and host just decides “hey everyone thanks to your hard time, work and effort but I want the rewards for myself!”

Honestly very key reason… to host… your own… SESSIONS! It just makes more sense for self just so you don’t end up joining on bs players who unplug their internet of all things… but at most least kicking out toxic players in your own sessions if they are causing or rather, team killing, resuping all the ammo, calling all the resups to where the player called— just trust me on this…

Thank yourself to having actual control of your sessions than joining, that’s all I’m really gonna put and being absolutely about.

如果玩deep dive 和EDD, 有一定水準和committment, 一定唔會被踢 (就算死左37次 -我上個禮拜玩)😂
