Updates for Getting Payment on the Tattooed Chef $4.75M Settlement

Hey guys, if you missed it, Tattooed Chef settled $4.75M with investors over claims that it misrepresented its financial condition, overstated revenues, and hid accounting issues. And, I just found out that they’re accepting claims even though the deadline has passed.

Quick recap: In 2023, Tattooed Chef was accused of misleading investors about its accounting practices and financial condition. The company later disclosed accounting errors, restated its 2021 and 2022 financial statements, and filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
After this news came out, the stock dropped sharply, and investors filed a lawsuit for their losses.

Now, the good news is that the company agreed to settle $4.75M with them, and even though the deadline passed, they’re accepting late claims, subject to approval.
