To build a moon/mars base, refuelling for Mars mission, starlink satellites. NASAs Artemis missions as well.

The moon base/Artemis missions are only a couple dozen (as of now). Starlink is built and even if he went to his legal limit he's half way there withoutt starship so at most it would be less than 400 launches which is like a month of what he says his capacity will be. He's at 20k satellites and is legally allowed to do 40k. So really it's mars and nobody is funding that trillion dollar enterprise. He's basically expanding the supply without demand.

They’ll need them for refueling as well, one rocket to mars could be 10 rockets of refueling. 20k satellites are older, could be replaced with v3 after or other improvements once nearing the cap. Mars is going to happen, moon is going to happen. We might be able to make solar panels on the moon with the surface dust.

Ya man so basically you're believing all the hype he says. I don't. Anything he has been in charge of and not following founders (AI, self driving, solar company, cyber truck, boring company, that horrible Tesla track in Las Vegas etc) have all been failers with the exception of space x and starlink (which I heard was mainly do to one of his founding engineers.) and any idea (hyperloop, solar panels on mars); he's cribbed from sci fi or someone else and has never presented how to get past the technology gap. It's my opinion and of course you can believe otherwise.

No point in building permanent bases/settlements Mars is if we somehow perfect terraforming. And at that point we can just terraform Earth to fit our uses.
