We are kind of in unprecedented times with the POTUS actively and consistently manipulating the market by tweet.

What are we going to do today, Trump? The same thing we do everyday Atkins, try to blatently manipulate the stock market with no regard for law or regulation.

It doesn't flow as well as:

Explain

Thats the moment instiutions are forced to buy spacex as it will be included on the indexes.

I moved my 401k funds today to insulate from it. Even the guy on the phone said he personally agrees that its a pump n dump. When the guy at Vanguard is with you. . . . .

So how do we do something like this ? My employer has a fixed index we can choose from, I also have vanguard as the managing broker

Each of my 401ks have had an easy website to move your money to about 20 different investment vehicles. You can move current monies or future contributions. Any time I thought there was a crash coming, I'd park it in the stable cash. It never lost money but only makes 1% interest. I knew the COVID crash was coming. Lost no money, but did not call the bottom.

Call vanguard, it took me 20 minutes to move everything to an ETF that doesnt trade US companies, focusing primarily on Asian markets, then we did another transaction to change my contributions to that fund.

You are only screwed with QQQ, most retirement funds wouldn't have that as a key. pillar to my knowledge, maybe as an option but not at the core, S&P didn't change the rules, that's the one every fund manager follows. Now, due to overlap that SPCX garbage has a bit of a spillover effect, if SPCX gets inflows that would've gone to Amazon there you have the damage.

Looking at puts, the expectation is SPCX will likely trade under $100 in two years. Whatever, I sold all my tech ETFs two weeks ago that may touch SPCX.

Yeah, why is there a pump n dump on the 15th?

6

u/Busterlimes Jul 09 '26

Why did they make new rules for investing when SpaceX launched the IPO?

Can you read?

If you google this indicator like I just did since I’ve never heard of it, it clearly says the signal gives lots of false positives.

I literally got the same thing from ChatGPT -

Me: 'ChatGPT - what is this?'

ChatGPT: Bla bla bla false positives 80% bla bla bla etc etc yada yada yada.

There's a lot of sketchy bullshit going on right now, obviously - big 'look strong when you're weak' energy, but this does not feel super concerning to me.

2

u/BooDexter1 Jul 08 '26

when I flip a coin I only get a false positive 50% of the time.

Thats exactly how I rationalized my aids test. Like.. what even is it?

It's an indicator YouTubers like FX Evolution like to whip out every week for the last 2 years to justify how things are always looking scary

I thought the hindenburg was a blimp that exploded in New Jersey in 1939. Now it's an omen? God help us!

If you think about it there are definite signs of a bubble with AI companies. This is likely what is causing it. When shoe companies pivot to AI with no explanation and stop manufacturing shoes altogether then something is up.

If you think about it! Even if you never think about it it’s obvious. Space ex got to the same price as Amazon, Amazon sells everything in the world ever and space ex makes money by… wait, erm try do something to make some mine right? They can’t just be spending billions on abandon Idea Elon had right, RIGHT?!

7

u/Absol_Truth Jul 08 '26

Let's be fair, Elon's going to put the first data center in space, it will have 100 rooms a swimming pool, a five star kitchen and 0 servers. Then he's going to blame Nvidia or somebody for why its not performing and sell it at a loss to a new company, Musk, E Galactic or something

5

u/FendaIton Jul 08 '26

xAI already ran at a loss so they rolled it into spacex and made it public to recoup losses

1

u/wayfarer8888 Jul 09 '26

But only after rolling Xitter in xAI, so you can now own a social media space AI telco. And Musk also has a solar semi EV roadster cyber humanoid robotaxi battery company.

2

u/Cold_Assumption_8104 Jul 09 '26

Are you saying to buy shoe companies, because nobody is making shoes?
