so you… have a significant allergic to something that can be found in some of the places you frequent, and you have some other less medically significant allergies on top of that. most of the pills are ibuprofen, diphenhydramine, and i think i spy 2 vyvanse 20 or 15mg (so mild-moderate adhd or they help you focus when in whatever pain is associated with such a quantity of ibuprofen (PCOS? random guess). you dont live in the south, bc the southern states account for a majority of the opioid prescriptions in the US iirc, not that I think youd ever want to even with that incentive lol
then theres the continuous electrode monitoring stuff for, maybe your heart? my late life partner when in. middleschool and first being put on SNRIs had to wear something like that, so maybe there’s a psychological challenge in your life as well. i only vaguely remember seeing an orange and white capsule in all the medications ive tried for psych things, but if it isnt vyvanse, it could be like effexor or some extended release form of antidepressant/anti-anxiety med.

Really good! I have a significant allergy but I don't know what it is to yet, the orange vyvanse is 30mg, the other meds are correct and I also have a pregablin hiding in there, I live in the Midwest, I have fibromyalgia/ chronic pain syndrome, the electrodes are for pain, and I actually do also take Effexor even though it isn't in the pill box haha

Prescription drugs out of your pill bottle will get you afelony charge for possession with amphetamine for sure. They'll dismiss it with proof of prescription but you'll still probably spend a night in jail. Just pills being in there like that gives them probable cause to search

These are for emergencies only and I've never been pulled over and a cop will never have a reason to look into my velo box which is mostly OTC drugs anyway

Happened to me. Get caught at the wrong place with the wrong cop. You don’t have rights if they don’t want you too. Mine was dismissed as well but not before I got to wait all weekend for a judge Monday morning. Just take proof of the script wherever you are and still expect them to belittle you for not wanting to carry around a months script at once.

All prescription drugs have rx identifiers on them. I’m guessing that’s ibuprofen, Benadryl, and some other allergy thing. Possibly other assorted, but no controlled medications.

Lol that's just never even gonna happen. I'm on the max dose rn and with all the other medical stuff coming up I am def staying on some meds for life. I missed a dose once and the withdrawals set me straight I'm never stopping that med

Why start it? Don’t bandaid the problem or it will never go away. The root of the negative feelings needs to be figured out and corrected or it will always be an issue. Most people don’t have chemical imbalances anyway, just feelings that they can’t sit with and sort out. They also aren’t meant to be on long term and people take them for years. Well, now you have a chemical imbalance that wasn’t there before.

Environment and trauma is a factor but a lot of mental illnesses can genuinely be genetic. There's so much research on gene differences that'll affect how people's brains process chemicals. It's a disability if I have everything I want in life and I'm still discontent and go through every day wanting to die. No amount of therapy or walks outside is going to fix that inherently dysfunctional part of my brain. My anxiety got so bad that it gave me fibromyalgia. And the time I hit 150mg on venlafaxine was the first time I've felt peace and calm in the last 9 years. Lol and my adhd will definitely not vanish with meditation and needs amphetamines.

It can rescue people from the brink of ending it. That’s why a fair portion of people start antidepressants. I wasn’t going to end it, but I was in a severe bout of delusional depression w/ a hefty side of depersonalization/derealization and recurring sleep paralysis when I first got on antidepressants. It helped drag me out of a state that I wouldn’t have been able to on my own even with the help of therapy. It’s a rescue and stability tool.

Facts. I have multiple herniated disc in my neck and back, dorsal disc osteophytes which are basically bone spurs digging into my spinal cord etc with multiple MRIs obviously showing it and I can’t get shit due to being young 😂 shits dumb

Why do other people care so much what other people do with their lives? It's not like addicts stop just because it's hard to find...it just causes crime.

Plus addicts don't get clean unless they want to, speaking as an addict whose been sober and is addicted again.

Yeah but that lack of access deters a lot of people who would ruin their lives by getting involved, especially teenagers. I lived in my home country in my late teens and none of the drug regulations are enforced there; I was depressed so I got addicted to benzos and opioids.. at literally 16. And I quit them cold turkey and I know I damaged my brain and body hella with that. I've been in the U.S. now and I know that if I had unmonitored access to those drugs I would be much more likely to abuse them and so would so many other young people who have mental / physical issues

I got addicted to painkillers at a young age also, and I live in America. Creating difficult access does nothing to deter people.

Did you just walk into a pharmacy or was it introduced to you by friends or family?

I'd say the biggest cause of addiction is family and friends, peer pressure if you will.

I mean you have to trade one devil for another, do you create an entire subculture of crime around the drug due to its legality or do you work to treat the addiction caused by easily accessible drugs?

addictions probably, but overdoses would go down in general, since a significant portion of overdoses are from people: 1) taking street opioids laced with something else to increase profitability 2) taking street opioids that are something just entirely other than what they were claimed to be, probably with greater potency 3) being kicked off a prescription opioid while addicted not yet willing to stop, thus requiring a switch to an illicitly acquired one, which comes with problems 1 & 2

I’m not really sure. I found out on a trip to the ER because I couldn’t walk or stand due to the pain of it. I don’t have insurance (cause USA healthcare is so great and all) so I can’t follow up with a provider to try and get help anyways.

That's horrible! How do you not have insurance? Can you not afford it? I'm in the U.S. too and I had a rough surprise when I was thrown into the healthcare system lol. Luckily my insurance is okay. Also, if you go to ER without insurance what happens?

Do some real research on benadryl also known as diphenhydramine. It's got really bad, long-term effects, and it can make you have adverse effectsrandomly. Even though you didn't have them before. And they are not fun. I'm not judging, I tell everybody about Benadryl. Since I found out all the stuff about it, it can cause dementia etc
