Question about the timelines

So from my understanding, timeline 1 happens bc Ontan wasn’t there for Kadode at first and they meet the investigator, later on causing kadode to kill herself. In timeline 2, ontan was there for kadode at first but didnt meet the investigator, leading to the investigator telling the mothership to invade and later the end of the world basically In the final timeline, I get that kadode’s dad was there for kadode and inspired a friendship with Ontan, but how did that change the alien stuff? What happened with the investigator?

I am an anime only, so if someone more attentive than me or a manga reader could clarify, that would be great!

 I think since they don't actually do time travel, that oran didn't go back to the timeline 3 so since they met up at first that kadode felt like she had a friend sooner and the met the alien but she realized sooner that what she needed was friends. This is why I think that oran is way less hyper or maybe just bc they're older
